The color itself can stand for sadness and sorrow, but there is another meaning that not many know of. Blue can also represent perfection. It is this perfection that Azul admires and can't help but want to collect it all for herself. She could spend all day just staring at the color, losing herself in all of it's magnificent glory. Oh, how she wishes she could be blue too..

Prompt (190 words, according to word counter): when amethyst was young, her mother would tell her tales of fearless heroes, usually named after blue stones. Her personal favorite was turquoise, a usually calm dragon who enjoyed meditating, but was an amazing fighter. The dragons had an wingery called the dragons of justice. Amethyst dreamed of joining them, but she was scared they would think she was stupid or puny, or worst of all, definitely not fit to fight. One day, she mustered up all her courage and confronted them. The dragons of justice tested her too see how skilled she was, and they were in for a pleasant surprise. Amethyst has been training and waiting for this moment all her life. "The results are in." Said their leader sapphire. "You failed" Amethyst's face fell for a moment, until she noticed sapphire laughing. She then realized it was a joke. Sapphire admitted she passed, but her face was priceless! Soon, amethyst became friends with all the justice dragons, and became their leader. Now, she collects blue gems to round t her of her long lost friends. (A leader is granted extra lives unlike warriors so they die later.)
Extra: turquoise is her favorite stone,because it reminds her of her best friend in the dragons of justice, and her favorite justice dragon as a kid.
