When Sardonyx was younger, he stumbled upon a lake shortly after being separated from his mother. At first, Sardonyx was scared and agitated and wanted nothing more than to be in the comfort of his mother’s arms. He found the rainforest a strange and intimidating place, overwhelmed by the constant noise. His ears were perked up as he took in the surroundings. He could hear the rush of the water and the scuttle of nearby animals. Above all that, he could hear the constant chirp of birds, as their melodies echo from tree to tree. He found the cries of the birds soothing and comforting, which allowed him to remain calm before he was reunited with his mother once more.

Ametrine doesn't like water much. She finds great pools of water intimidating but small pools of water tolerable... as long as she isn't in it.
If she is given the choice, she would rather keep a fair distance away from water. She is unable to describe the feeling of water, but to put it simply she finds greatly displeasing.
If you try to put her in water... I hope you have plenty of band-aids. Earplugs would be a good idea too.

Their Opinion of Water: This may sound kind of weird, but Blossom LOVES water. Especially on hot days she’s allowed in the pool. She loves taking baths, she loves it so much she purposely gets herself dirty. Blossom also loves to get sprayed with the water hose and run around in the sprinkler!
She get super excited when her owner brings her to the beach with him. She loves swimming in the ocean.
Sometimes she’s even allowed to go out a bit further. And when her owner goes on trips to waterfalls or rivers or lakes, he’s always bringing her on the adventure.

Her name, Puddle, always leads her to feeling as though it's a slightly golden-tinted name, perhaps signifying something about water. She always ends up with the idea that she is a puddle.
