What is a Shadow Flit?
Shadow Flitz (Singular; Shadow Flit) are a long bodies species that have long since lost their hind legs, tail, and eyes to the power of the shadow and have replaced them with mold-able wispy appendages. These large, friendly beasts have been recently tamed to be ridden by humans and anthros alike. They have large, wide front paws, long pointed ears, and short, smooth fur. They can be naturally found in dark caves, wetlands, or thick forests. however have also been spotted in pastures while hunting. They are carnivores- meaning they are only meant to eat meat and they often prey on birds, deer, rodents, and bats.

love and cherish him! nah but I do full intend to work him into the world Gyp my bird bae's from. The basic idea for Gyp is he's outcasted royalty from a fallen empire who's hiding out under an assumed identity with a group of "independent problem solvers". I'm not sure quite where he fits in just yet but I'd love to play with him and figure out if he makes more sense as a younger brother to Gyp or maybe a traitor to the empire that caused it to fall and is looking for Gyp [s]or maybe both[/s].

your plans: Paradox lives on an animal reserve and protects her friends from illegal poachers. I plan on building her an entire world including her hide and favourite bow and arrow, maybe an outfit or two owo

flit name: Jenny (Jen for short)
your plans: I have this group of five parrots (Paige, Pam, Penelope, Pickle, and Polly), and Jen would be their adoptive mother. She tries to keep them from causing too much mischief or getting into danger in the jungle they live in. The basic idea for their plotline is that one of the parrots is captured by humans, and Jen has to overcome her fear of humans in order to bring her adoptive child back home. Along the way, she learns to give her "kids" a little more freedom, and to trust in their own abilities to protect themselves. In terms of personality, Jen is a bit controlling and definitely too obsessed with organization; she's suspicious of strangers, but talkative once you get to know her; and she'll often come up with elaborate plans for redesigning her home, then spend a super long time on very tiny details and never finish anything. Some of her favorite things are random masks, playing games (especially hide-and-seek) with her kids, and fruit. Her least favorite things include coconuts, mud, snakes, and humans.

He would live in the same universe as Tyto, a steampunk/clockpunk universe where no humans live.
He'd be a skilled tamer; he'd have a large bird companion who would be able to grab him and fly him up to Tyto's library.
Tyto and Barukh would be good friends, with Tyto helping him out not once; both with providing info amd treating his injuries.

Barukh would've this sorta personality:
A strong willed and stubborn flit, when he says he wants something, there's no way anyone could stop him from getting it. He's picky, energetic, a good liar, and quite proud of himself.
Barukh is a charismatic flit who came from a family of four: he didn't know his mother and father, only having one or two vague memories about them, but he knew his sister before she went missing years ago. He believed his father was a hero and that he defeated large hoards of enemies before him and his sister were born! He was raised in an orphanage along with her, but he ran away due to hearing some stray gossip about some famous soldier coming to the town. Of course, he thought it was his dad.
Unfortunately, though, it was just a royal knight, bringing a message he couldn't care less about.

On his way back to the orphanage, Barukh found a baby bird beside a torn nest. Luckily, it was still breathing, but it's wing was bleeding. He took it back with himself to the orphanage where, to his relief, they let him nurse the small bird back to health. He ended up raising him up, and that bird is now known as Suerte, companion of the beast tamer Barukh!
