Little Darkness everywhere
Left me here fraught with despair
Growing more and more each night
I've given up without a fight
...



Milea could feel the darkness seep in and creep over her, winding through her fur making it's way to her sensitive skin. What was that sound? Her head darts to the right, scanning the black canvas of nothing before her - not sure what to expect, but seeing nothing. Milea grips the note closer to herself.

"I can't let go," she quietly whispered. "I can't let go."

As the night went on Milea continued to observe the area around her, only to find that she was the only one - the only living, breathing soul wrapped in the abyss that was that room.

"I can't let go," She whispered on through the night. "I can't let go."

When morning finally came, she saw the faintest bit of light glowing dim underneath the door. Just a sliver. Too small for comfort, but just enough to see.

"Little Darkness everywhere," She began.
Scribbling away as fast as she could. Writing and rewriting.

"I've given up without a fight..."

"Why?" She asked herself. "Because you're afraid." She reassured.

Days passed. Darkness once again took over. Countless sleepless nights. Nowhere to go, no one to call for help. Lost. Trapped. Locked away in her own mind.

"I have to get away..."



Her bright glowing eyes symbolize her strength for having eventually broken free of the prison that was her own mind. She keeps the bottle containing her poem with her at all times to remind herself of the barriers she had to overcome.

I know the original post says one month, but I wasn't sure if it was extended for more entries or if it meant roughly a month?
