Her favorite animal isn’t something most would expect due to the lack of an ocean view, but her absolute favorite animal is the blue whale. They’re so elegant in their own right and she loves everything about them.

golden snub-nose monkey! when maruna was little, she befriended a baby snub-nose who took her home to meet her band. from the moment maruna stepped foot into the circle of 75 monkeys, she was immediately accepted as one of their own. unfortunately throughout the years their band has dwindled, and their species teeters between endangered and critically endangered. their bands are now typically seen in 10-20, not nearly the fascinatingly large groups they used to have.

favorite animal: Isla absolutely adores butteflies!! This is partially because she always felt a bit out of place compared to her friends due to her markings, yet the wildly different markings of each butterfly helped her to understand that all creatures were beautiful, no matter how different they look. Alongside this, she loves how graceful they look when perched and slowly flapping their weeks back and forth, and finds it incredibly cool that they have their own built in straw. Nothing makes her happier than when she finds herself in the presence of a butterfly, especially if she's lucky enough to be their perch. She'll stand still for quite a while if it means she can get her favorite little critters to perch on her.

Favorite animal: Sable's favorite animal would have to be deer. Any kind of deer really, she just adores their graceful mannerisms and overall beauty. She especially likes how when they run away from her when she tries to go to play with them, they wag their tail like they are waving goodbye to her, their long tails showing white as they wave back and forth in their retreat just makes her smile. Sable especially loves the little babies, their too long legs and large ears too big for their tiny heads, the clumsiness of them learning how to run and play. Sable just loves these creatures and enjoys watching them in her pastures.
