guest artist should be one of my favorite pokemon. ;v;

From the second she was hatched, the small eevee
was segregated from her siblings. Her mother,
unknowing of what to do regarding her pale
fur, couldn't properly care for her. She simply
didn't understand why, when in the sun, her
daughter squinted and whined. Realizing she
can't care for her offspring, she went to the
only place she could think of: a human den.
Her mother had few encounters with humans,
but all positive, as they seemed harmless and
if anything, caring. She left her other two
other children with her mate while she trekked
to the nearest home. It was a cabin not far
away, making it fairly easy to get there as she
sheltered her daughter under the glinting sun.
Reaching the cabin she sighed, looking down
at her daughter's small figure. So small and
frail, weakened from the lack of nutrients
her siblings denied her. Her mother scraped
the wooden door with her paws forcefully.
A shuffling noise from inside followed. She
quickly flicked her tongue over the whining
fluff's head, nuzzling her gently before darting
back toward her home.

The cabin's owner drew open the door
cautiously, peeking out curiously, only for
their eyes to land on the mewling figure at
their feet. They blinked in surprise, quickly
kneeling down and scooping up the creature.
An albino eevee..? The human appeared
female and elderly with a very caring face.
She lived alone, it seemed. No creatures were
present besides the small eevee and the older
woman. She held the creature close, looking
down at it in her arms with nurturing eyes.
This lasted for a few moments before she
turned and entered the house. A fire was lit
at a brick fireplace, a rug beneath it and a
red cushioned chair adorning the small space.
The woman crossed the floor to the chair,
seating herself with the young one still wrapped
tightly in her arms. The eevee looked up, red
eyes locking with her new caretaker's blue
ones. Smiling, the woman scratched behind
her ears and patted her head. Her eyes softened,
muttering a name to herself.
"Carole"

Carole grew up happy and healthy under the
care of Jennifer, the lady who helped her so
generously. However, her condition leaves her
to a point where she's unable to leave her home.
But this doesn't phase her in the slightest. She
may be bored from time to time, but Jennifer
always accompanies her. Her inside life didn't
alter her moods in the slightest, but rendered
her shy. Visitors come and go with Pokemon,
yet she finds it daunting just to interact with
them. This brings her to hope to be a flareon;
the closest thing she'll get to confidence and
maybe even being able go out in the sun.
Obviously she doesn't battle enough to evolve
so she simply hopes for a time her owner may
think of the idea to get her a fire stone. For
now, she's fine with her current state. She has
a loving caretaker whom she trusts and adores.
She couldn't wish for a better life.

she knows, but she's loved and looked up to other leafeon since she was very young! mela
was born frail due to her albinism, so her parents were always in and out of herb gardens,
trying to find potions that could improve her immune system or berries that would help her
through particularly troubling ailments. the owner of the herb garden was a leafeon who
mela really looked up to, not only because they were very talented when it came to plants
and natural remedies, but also because they were a kind soul and they always knew how to
make someone smile, even if things were looking pretty dark for them. mela wanted to grow
up to be like that leafeon, to provide care and help to others in conditions like hers and to
remind them never to forget to smile. she also feels like she's always had a deeper connection
with nature that draws her to choose leafeon in particular, but she feels like this is due to her
love for the leafeon at the herb garden and due to her lengthy history going there.

With the appearance of a small snow pile, Mellow sits perfectly still, her perfectly groomed white fur blending in with the blanket of frost that gently covered the ground. Her light pink eyes were narrowed as she gazed at her teammates, who wandered around hopelessly in search of their newest teammate. She grinned, but didn’t move. Not yet, she wasn’t ready to give away her location. She knew it would be awhile before she was doing, even with the fantastic nose that Mae the rock ruff possessed, and the keen eye of Belle. She loved it.

Behind her she could hear the soft steps of her trainer, Farra, who seemed to be coming close. “Hey guys, I think I found her!” she squealed. Mellow felt herself tense as the other two bounded over, Mae managing to trip through the snow as she came. Mellow closed her eyes tight, hoping her light pink eyes didn’t give her away. To her surprise nothing came, no attacks and no giggles. Her ear twitched as the familiar voice of her trainer piped up again. “That’s just a pile of snow! It looks like we’ll never find her.”

Mellow started to giggle, giving away her place. She decided to make things easier and wag her tail a little, which got some clear attention from the others. “Here I am!” Mellow exclaimed, bursting up in the air and into the arms of Farra. Mellow noticed Farra’s bright red nose, which sniffles as Mellow landed in her arms.

“You’re such a good hider!” Mae squealed, snow resting on her fur. It didn’t take long for Belle to trot over as well, looking slightly displeased at the cold. The siamese Delcatty purred, though, as she sat staring at the albino eevee that sat in the arms of Farra, who shivered more and more by the second.

“I think we should get inside...” Mellow murmured. She glanced at her teammates, who quickly nodded in agreement.

“You’re really good at hiding in the snow Mellow!” Mae complimented as they trotted into their home.

Belle nodded in agreement. “Are you thinking you want to evolve into glaceon?”

Mellow widened her eyes. She hadn’t really thought about it before, she figured she would evolve eventually but into what? She wasn’t sure. “Well,” Mellow murmured. “I think I want to evolve into a flareon, actually.”

The team looked back at her, stunned. “A flareon?” Mae exclaimed.

“Yeah! I mean,” Mellow stopped, glancing up at her cold trainer. “I would love to keep everyone warm, plus it’s more fun to cuddle with a fire type!” She squeaked sheepishly. “Besides, I’d probably have white fur still, so you’d never expect a fire type to bear colors of the snow!”

He's a little skittish of humans, fighting types, and ghost types- but once he makes a friend, he's loyal to them forever.

extra: Because he grew up on the daycare, as a kit he was caught by a bad trainer. He was urged to fight, resulting in many scars. But one day, his captive life was over. A blue winged - persian (my OC Lana to be sure) saved him from his pokeball, and they ran away. Because he young he was introduced to the young team, where he befriended a vulpix!
He is afraid of coming close to humans, because it triggers his PTSD.
One day, he wants to find his old trainer and struck him with dark pulse, because he deserves that.
He also likes umbreons because how much they are misunderstood and placed as a villian. He wants to prove the pokemon race that not all the Umbreons are dark and scary.
