i looked up at the stars in the sky and saw patterns. i could see all different shapes and sizes, different objects hidden among them. out of the corner of my eye, a blinding ray of light caught my attention. fireflies, so small and yet fascinating creatures. they blended in with the sky so well. so little and underappreciated, we should care for these creatures more.
