Waerei is a world that is continuously growing and evolving. It is a world of magic and a home for many mystical creatures. However, it is also a world of conflict. Many intelligent factions co-exist in Waerei, and very often the battles for land to thrive within take place all around the planet. Many sentient residents of Waerei fight for diplomacy and peace, but their efforts are often overshadowed by ingrained hatred and opposing efforts of violence. Will you push for a peaceful co-existence, or fight for land for your faction?
What are the races of Waerei?
Races of Waerei are intelligent beings who populate the world of Waerei. They are the main characters of the story - the beings that make up the social societies of Waerei and ultimately the beings who will determine the fate of the planet. Races of Waerei function as open-species and can be used as OCs outside of the Waerei thread, but they also may be used in Waerei RP, events and actions.
The Races of Waerei belong to separate factions, each consisting of several allied races who carry different political and social ideals. Conflict in this modern day can be seen in places around the world, and it is still not certain which path the planet shall take. The fate of Waerei lies in the hearts and minds of those who fight for power, and those who hold it. Which steps will you take to secure your place in this world?
Margoul
What are Margoul?
Margoul are an intelligent humanoid species populating mainly grassland territories in Waerei. They are simple beings who have strong familial bonds and a love for nature. They are often skilled in professions such as gathering, herbalism, alchemy, farming and construction.
Margoul deeply yearn for a society that cares for nature as they do, and one that appreciates the gifts brought by the lands around them. They will go to great lengths to advocate for preservation of the environment, equality and advancement in biological studies, among other causes. They are currently undecided as a race in regards to which faction* they side with, and often lend a hand to anyone in need regardless of their political and social standing.
*Factions are groups of allied races who generally push for the advancement of those they personally support, often fighting against other allied races for land and resources.
