We have reason to believe that their dam is a first-time mom who sadly didn't get the instinct kick in to bond with them. The pair was swiftly retrieved from the wilderness so that their chance of survival increases.

Tulane due to her youth would be paired with an adult mare in the stable to keep her company and generally help her adjust to her new surroundings. Of course, she would be set to a schedule of routine bottle feeding until she can eat solid food. Most importantly would be her adjustment to living with humans. She would have a short time each day to be socialized with people and other animals around the farm. As she gets more comfortable she will be introduced to the use of a halter so she can be led more easily. She would undoubtedly become a fan favorite around the stable and be adored by the many riders and stable hands who would help care for her.

How are you going to care for her?: Muffin will become the mascot of
"Neverland's Ranch". Muffin will become a therapy horse once fully grown,
and matured. Since Muffin had such a sweet, playful, loving attitude, she
will be loved even more. All our dogs here at the ranch love Muffin, and
muffin so happens to love them too. Muffin reminds me of a horse I used
to ride, who soon became my favorite. Her name was muffin. Muffin was
the sweetest little pony, and looked just like this little muffin. I started
ridding Muffin, after my old boy, Baxter had retired, and I missed him
deeply, and still do till this day. I haven't seen muffin in years now, and
actually today, ill be visiting her stables for the first time in years. I don't
like to have high hopes, but I dont think Muffin will still be there. Soon
after I stopped ridding, the stables shut down, and have now been
rebuilt. So since i love and miss my muffin so much, i would love to care
and love my online muffin also.

how are you going to care for her?: Roðadís - she's been a difficult filly. the first AISP i'd taken in, i didn't have another horse to foster the little foal. instead, i took the filly over to the Napablood barn to see if any of them clicked with her. Scirocco took a liking to Roðadís, taking her in almost as his own. she still had to be bottle-fed to ensure she got enough nutrients to continue growing, but Scirocco acted as her guardian, showing her what's what. the dangers of the world, and what sorts of behaviors the horses communicated.

How are you going to care for her?: Sofie will have to be hand raised. I will do the best I can to dedicate my time into raising her and researching how mother horses discipline their foals in order to make sure she doesn't become too spoilt. To make sure she doesn't get deprived of socializing, I will try to arrange visits with other horses until I get another to help fill in that hole that I would not be able to fill.

Because she is deaf in one ear, I would take care to teach her at an early age to not be afraid of loud noises, like plastic bags, cars, and anything of the sort to make her feel more comfortable and less scared.

How are you going to care for her?: I will be hand rearing her as the only other member of Northern Pride thus far is Kiviuq, our over protective stallion. Ikiaq will eventually be pastured with him but since she is currently in such a vulnerable state it is better to keep them separate as she is more susceptible to diseases and bugs, seeing as she probably missed getting colostrum from her mother.
With all of those important nutrients missing from her body, she will need round the clock monitoring and lots of shots and mineral supplements. Which is why she will essentially be living in my house for the first few weeks of her life.
