odilie, by herself, is simply a piece of artwork. some say she was sculpted from the finest materials, too regal to live among mundanes. some say she was born from a falling star, too pure to be of this earth. her eyes are filled with the stars and her dreams extend further than the universe itself. her love reaches the smallest of life, forever known and undiminishing.

but odilie is also seen as an oddity for who she identifies as. she doesn't understand the odd looks thrown her way when she walks past. nor does she understand why conversations are cut short when she reveals herself, or someone does for her. she doesn't understand why slurs are thrown her way, but at the same time she does. she understands that some are so small minded that they are scared of things that they, themselves, don't understand. such as her love for both mares and stallions.

the harshness of the world does not get to odilie though. she diminishes each negative interaction with her blindingly optimistic personality, her never ending friendliness, and overall love for everyone and everything she comes across in her life. because life is too short to hold grudges and odilie knows that.
