Stop, drop, point me away
A spiritual mainstay, another tireless day,
There's arrows in my back, a black water bay
How can i live to tomorrow when i can't last through today?
Moulded out of clay, I'm a hundred miles away,
A galaxy born and destroyed in a day
The vanishing point is the peak of my story,
their weak offers bore me, a pool full of chlorine,
Colder than ice, sharp wit and spite,
A black monstrous bite, my last string pulled tight,
but it doesn't' matter if i don't arrive for one more night.

the oceans all ive ever known,
and yet i know nothing.
like a storm it cascades me in wonder.
in the center lays an eye;
the secrets of the abyss

its blue, so blue.
the color of emotion.
a hue that can be swayed
like a child.
but it is not innocent, no.

raise the sail,
aye.
scrape the bow,
aye.
mop the deck,
aye.

you get used to the rocking,
used to the scent of salt
on your upper lip.
your hands move in a
clockwork routine.

your nails will grow long,
until they break mending sails.
the days where night falls
and stars shatter the mast
is the day where we can only look back.

ready the cannons,
aye.
ration the food,
aye.
steer us northwest,
aye.

there are clams between my toes,
and gills along my neck.
if my mother were to see me
she would've wept.
but i dont know if she breathes any longer.

there's no pen and paper at sea
why would there be?
our canvas is the hickory wood
of the ship, of our god.
if it begins to sink, only the holy float.

cover his face lad,
aye.
i can't stand to look at him anymore,
aye.
theres brine in his blood no doubt,
aye.

the bodies are green with flu.
they stink of rotten meat
and attract the rats, too.
we feed the ocean
unwanted corpses, unwanted stench.

i carve this into the mast as i pray.
every day something old
rises again in the form of bile.
the sickness puts them in denial.
but i know no one will find us in time.

in their sea of silver, like poured glitter
Stardust is their backdrop, filled with light
Twinkling up above, as the grass flitters

The soft night breeze surrounds me
as the stars above give me light
I make my way along this sea
towards my home that feels right

I know not where I go
only that where I go is home
On my journey I have nothing to show
but still I go and everywhere I roam

This path I'm on is newly tread
for I am the first to step
From my past I have not fled
towards my home on the snowy steppes

At last I'm here, to this place
that glitters everywhere like stars
Trees glisten, handling their burden with grace
as I hope to make this place ours.

The stars above have guided me
for this I give them my thanks
but now it's time for me to rest
Look after me, my stars

Sonnet:

You stand on Earth still, though it moves so fast,
No matter how high in the sky you are,
Though comets, asteroids, and stars move past,
The Earth doesn't move you all of that far,
They tell you something special happens soon,
At least when the stars align in the night,
But you have been waiting past midnight's noon,
Nothing great or awful ever takes flight,
But when you connect with our planet now,
Aligning yourself with the rocks, right here,
Some new things arise out from an old cow?
You will find that it is something so near.
Not things are evil and good,
did it turn out as you thought it would?

(He thought that looking for the sky for answers was doing nothing so he meditated with the rocks, which summoned a cow, he touched the cow and he was cursed with those patterns)
