“I am not one for fighting, claws and teeth are not my way. Instead I try and use words to dissuade my opponents from continuing on their dark path. In order to use these words I empty my mind, remain the rock in their storm that they can cling to. Many cats are not fond of my ways but I do not wish to cause harm. I can and will if I must but it is against my beliefs. Why would Starclan wish us to fight. Every morning I meditate, While Starclan does not speak to me, I hope that they hear my words. My life has taught me the advantage of an open mind and I do not judge others for their choices. Instead I try and lead them down a less dangerous path.

While I can fight I am not good at it, my skills are in words and not my paws and so many if my clan mates must protect me. Because of my meditations and lack of fighting skill I have become... lazy. Preferring to remain in camp and be the shoulder and ear that everyone uses. While I do not know everything I try and intrude on other people’s lives and change them if they are on the wrong path. Moon- She was born as the single kit on the night of a super moon, her coat catching the stray golden light poured out from the final beams of the great moon

Down- the day before before her naming ceremony, there was a meteor shower and it appeared to the clan that the stars were plumetting to the earth. All the cats refused to venture out beneath the blazing lights. All but Moonpaw, who went in search of an herb that was desperately needed to help a mother who had just given birth. The leader decided to give her the suffix down to commemorate her bravely on the night the sky fell down.

Moondown is dedicated to her clan and loyal to tradition above all, sometimes following the rules replaces her sense of morality. She is trusted completely by her superiors and is often given serious missions and secrets by Wildeyes and Sandclaw.
She has a difficult time making friends and integrating with the more light-hearted cats, especially as she's been known to tell on her fellow warriors to the leader and deputy. She doesn't understand why they're upset when they were the ones breaking the rules and often feels quiet lonely, but covers it up with an extra layer of stiff silence.
She's a good warrior, level and cool, but her tactics are nothing surprising and she fights the exact way her mentor taught her, never learning anything new.

name meaning:
The Mountain- part of his name comes from his previous name, Mountain below Sun during Dawn. He was formerly part of a tribe, who gave him the name because of his pelt coloration. The mountain part fit well with the suffix, so he got to keep the Mountain- prefix for his name.
The -runner part comes from his speed and how easily his paws adapt to different grounds. Both Hoodoostar and Duckbelly took note of this, and they thought the name Mountainrunner would suit him well {due to him being able to keep balance on multiple terrains, and mountains are known to be difficult areas to run on}.

personality:
Mountainrunner isn't the brightest of clan cats. He doesn't have the most amount of knowledge on clan life, so he's often treated like a kit when a common clan ritual comes up, and his mind isn't able to come up for a reason on why. It's also difficult for him to pick up on other cat's emotions, causing him to break off from most socializing with his clan mates. Despite this, he's still treated well by other clan mates, and he returns the favor by attempting to be friendly with them.

name meaning:
Blue is the prefix her mother gave to her, in reference to the dusky blue shade of her pelt. Earning her warrior name, thorn mostly refers to her sour nature and bad attitude. Her mentor especially described her as a thorn in his paw, always too eager to hunt or train, begging all day until she would give up and sulk.
personality:
As mentioned, Bluethorn is a little spoiled and has a tantrum when something doesn't go her way. Copperstar is hesitant to ever give her an apprentice, afraid of losing some fur if she thinks she has the 'wrong' cat. Her attitude causes problems with rival cats, being rather provoking and sarcastic. Usually her reaction to an outsider is hostility, regardless of circumstances, which can make her look heartless at times. She doesn't like being told what to do for the most part, willing to show her stubborn side when it comes to little details like where to take a patrol. Bluethorn takes most things with a grain of salt.

Although, she isn't all that bad. She's hard to really disappoint, though probably because she never believed in whoever in the first place. It's hard to lie to her, hardly ever taking anyone's word, she'll happily do some snooping. Of course, it comes in handy when disputing with another clan. She's fiercely loyal to her clan, even if she can be a little disrespectful at times. Her stubbornness and need to prove others wrong helps to push herself, to keep trying no matter what anyone else says.
