A week into the event, as you make your way through the ever-intriguing booths and play your way through the daily games, you find yourself standing once more in front of the information tent. Only... something has changed. The sign that read 'Information' has been flipped over, and now reads 'Witch's Cauldron'.

Intrigued, you enter the tent to find with witch sitting behind her cauldron, stirring the bubbling green liquid within with a comically large wooden staff. The witch doesn't seem to notice you for a moment, but then they speak.

Come to the Witch's Cauldron, have you?

Their voice sounded much eerier than you remembered, although that could have been a joke to keep alive the spirit of the holiday. You nod, trying not to let your trembling show.

What have you brought me to gamble in my brew?

Gamble? You are confused for a moment before the witch speaks again.

If you've come to the cauldron, that must mean you want a potion. But all potions come with a price. Sacrifice two of your precious items, or fifty candy eyes, and we will see if the cauldron awards you a gift or a curse....

The ominous warning rings in your head. Should you take the chance, or will you simply walk away?

✦ A user may only try to gain something from the cauldron one (1) time each day.
OO↪ You may only try for something from the cauldron once every three days, provided you have the items. That means if you post on Day 1, you can't post again until Day 4.

✦ The days rollover at 12 am EDT. Follow the link to find out what time it is currently!
✦ Forms must be filled out completely using the code provided.
✦ You must give up two items or 50 Candy Eyes, and provide proof that you have them.
OO↪ Your items/currency will be completely removed from your user account and considered 'used', so think carefully before gambling them away.
✦ Sometimes the cauldron will give you nothing - it's up to you if you want to take that chance.

The cauldron bubbled and a large puff of green smoke billowed out, causing you to cough slightly. When it cleared the witch shook her head. "Bad luck, I'm afraid.... But not to worry! You can try again another day, and as my first customer, let me give you a little something for your troubles.

The cauldron bubbled up and seemed like it might offer you a reward, only to settle down again - much to the dismay of the witch behind it.

"I suppose you won't be getting anything today...."

The cauldron seemed not to react at first, but then it bubbled up greatly. In a puff of smoke you saw the witch's face, and they smiled widely. As the smoke faded you saw the witch holding a potion in a light red glass bottle.
