Celestial Dragons(CDs) are a small breed of dragon, closely related to Fu Dogs. They have a silky, ethereal mane that swirls and shines like a galaxy. They vary in size from a small fox to a large dog, and are covered in a thin coat of soft fur. Their pupils are star shaped, and every CD has a star marking in their coat or mane. Please make sure to read the species rules before trying out!

story;
Her parents were both explorers. They devoted their time to discovering new places and learning as much as they could about the areas and dragons they visited. They loved bringing Ember along with them so she could experience everything the world had to offer first-hand, and hoped to instill the same passion they had for discovery within their daughter. However, not every experience was a feel-good one. During their time together, Ember and her family had seen both the good and the bad that nature had to offer. After one particularly long journey, they came upon the ruins of what was once a massive village. Now, however, everything was burnt to a char, and only a few buildings whose walls had been made of stone remained. Her parents noted that it appeared as though the inhabitants of said village had all safely escaped as there didn't appear to be any remains that would suggest otherwise. The whole scene was shocking to young Ember; up until this point she couldn't fathom the idea of having an entire civilization wiped out by mother nature, by fire, but this was reality. This was the truth. She recalls as they ventured further into the village, there was one object that appeared untouched: a simple white doll made of cloth and stuffed with sheep's wool that was made to resemble a celestial dragon. Hanging around its neck was a golden chain with a charm attached to the end of it in the shape of a flame. Ember decided to keep both of these objects, and would go on to wear the necklace whenever they visited a new place. If it could protect the doll, it could protect her.

Years after their visit to the village, the small family came upon a massive and beautiful forest. It was unlike anything Ember had set her eyes upon. There were cedar trees as far as they eye could see, the soft grass beneath their paws curved upwards onto a steep hill, which ran down into a valley with thick shrubbery laden with colorful flowers. Excitedly, the explorers ventured onwards, wondering what marvels there were to uncover in this forest. As Ember rolled down the hill and landed in the warm embrace of the valley below, she ran over to the flowers and picked some to store in the small leather satchel she had brought. Within a small opening in the shrubbery was what was akin to an entryway of sorts covered by vines adorned with yet more flowers. She walked over and pushed her way through, and what she saw was the last thing she expected. The land before her, like the village those years ago, was blackened. The cedar trees were no longer tall and majestic, but shriveled and charred. There were no flowers left,
no vines, and none of the magic that she had just experienced. The worst part of it all was this didn't seem to be just one small section, it looked to be the entire rest of the forest. Heartbroken, she dropped the satchel to the ground and sat down as tears began to form in her eyes. She didn't understand how something so wonderful could be destroyed so completely. As her parents joined her, she turned around and faced them with the most pained expression they had ever seen their daughter sport.
"I don't understand," she whispered, "fire destroyed that village and with it the lives of everyone that lived there. And now it's taken my forest. My beautiful," Ember took a deep breath and closed her eyes, "and wonderful forest."
At this her parents exchanged saddened glances, but then smiled and sat down next to her.
"Ember," she said as she snuggled closer up to her daughter and wrapped her tail lovingly around her, "what you see is not an ending to something wonderful, it's the beginning of a new life. Look at your charm that you took from the village."
At this, ember looked down at her necklace and held the metal flame in her hands.
"I would bet that that charm does work after all, just perhaps not in the way you expected," her mother mused. "You see, forests and beautiful, yes, but they're not immortal. In order for them to continue on, sometimes there has to be opportunities for new trees and new life to get their chance to become part of the world. While the landscape before you appears sad, what you must understand is that what you're really looking at is new life taking root right before your eyes. Look at that area of there," she pointed at a patch of burnt grass, "I'll bet there's a baby tree that's going to be in that very spot, and it's going to be just as beautiful as you are!"
Ember laughed at this and wiped a tear from her eye.
"And over there!" her mother gestured to a similar scene on the opposite side, "Something tells me there's going to be a flower patch right there, just like the ones you've seen." Her mother let off a contemplative sigh and rested her paw reassuringly on top of Ember's head, who was now smiling as she envisioned what this forest would become. "Do you know what I think the best part of this is?" she asked. Ember looked up at her with curious eyes. "I think the best part is that you and the forest get to grow up together. You can bring your kin here, and they their kin, and so on."
"Thank you mama," she said quietly. Now when Ember looked at the burnt terrain before her, it was through a fresh perspective.
She was looking at death and rebirth.At new beginnings. She was looking at the balance of life; at how something good can't last forever, but when it ends, it gives way to new opportunities. This was an important lesson that she would always keep with her,
and that she would eventually pass down to her children when they came to visit Ember's Forest.
