    Name:
    Show Name:
    Gender: Stallion
    Age: 9 years
    Height: 14.3 hh
    Eye color: Greener Pastures
    Halter:
    Phenotype: Isabello Palomino Sabino
Genotype: ee || aa || Crcr || SbSb
    Notes:
    - Will always pass Sabino {Sb} to offspring.

This guy was captured a bit later than some of the others. He's still fairly young, but he looks to have been on the bottom of the totem pole within his bachelor herd, and he's got some scars along his face and belly. He's very skittish, and he jumps at just about anything that he isn't familiar with.

I want you guys to tell me how you gentle him. Not break him, not train him; gentling horses is completely different than other methods of breaking a horse. It doesn't always work well with some horses, but in my experience and watching others it seemed to be a great method for more skittish and fearful ones like this guy here. You don't need to put in a whole lot, just some steps you'd take. This ends on Monday!

Name: Comet
Show Name: The Untamable One
Halter: Regular, Eye colour
Steps Taken:
1. I will make sure Comet is comfortable in his pen, then approach and stay at a corner until Comet notices me.
2. I will walk around and watch him as I do so, in case Comet shows aggression. As I repeat this, I will get progressively closer to Comet while still keeping him calm. I will also make sure I stay out of his kicking range.
3. I will make him slowly get used to my movements, then carefully signal to him to move. Halfway across the pen is good enough.
4. I will touch him using a pole so he cannot kick me, and I will also be a safe distance away. Comet will get used to being touched without becoming aggressive.
5. I will let Comet get used to feeling a pressure around his neck so he will not strike out when a rope is looped around his neck. Then, I will touch him gently so he will get used to me.
6. I will repeat this until Comet becomes docile and gentle.

I hope this was correct :) Sorry if it's inaccurate.

Would like at least one more entry for this boy. c; I'll be extending the comp to this coming Tuesday, or whenever a second form is completed.

Name: Sunny
Show Name: Sunshines Rhythm
Halter: Rope
Steps Taken:

1. Getting Sunny home.
1.1 Getting Sunny home was the hardest part, getting him the trailer was a nightmare. He kept trying to rear and pull away. Every time he tried we took him out and calmed him down with a soft voice and gentle hands .

2. As Sunny is a nervous reck I slowly try to approach him with some treats. He shows little interest at first but as I continue to stand perfectly still he inches closer. He tentively nibbles the treats out of my hands before bolting and rearing.I repeat this for a couple of days

3. He becomes confident in he fact that I'm not there to hurt him. He eventually stays and slowly e confident at the treats put of my hands giving a soft luck making sure that none are left.

4. One day he simple put his head in my hands and let me pet him. I would stop as soon as he got tense and started again when he became relaxed again
