► WHAT ARE VOLKS?


Volks are immortal nocturne wolf-like creatures, found by humans in a foreign planet a few years ago. Their main morphological features are lengthy ears and tail, feathers on their cheek fur and tail and long and sharp claws. Their pupils are always the exact same color as the iris, making it look like they have no pupil at all. Their feathers, nose, claws, ear fur and tongue glow in the dark. Their size is close to an Earth wolf's. Volks are very agile creatures due to their slim bodies, making it easy for them to escape in any kind of situations. They can easily swim, climb trees and jump considerable heights. Volks have an omnivore diet, even though they feed mostly on fruits. Volks are smart creatures, extremely friendly and curious and some of them are tamed by humans before reaching their maturity. Once you tame a wolf, both you and your wolf receive the same marking on the same body part, representing your bond. Some markings are simple, some markings are complex - this complexity matches the effort of the taming process. Tamed Volks will either move to Earth with the bonded human or remain in their home planet with their pack. No matter what happens, their bond will never leave, even after their human's death.

Takitachi has always been intrigued by humans, especially their fascination with comets; he still
remembers all the stories other Volks told him when he was young. The stories only encouraged
Takitachi's curiosity to grow, he wanted to find someone who was also intrigued with other's
interests and how they react to things around them.

Some would call Takitachi apathetic
for his closed off, quiet, aloof
nature; though he is very interested
in actions and reactions. Other
Volks usually stray away from him
since he doesn't interact with others,
despite his willingness to try to
befriend them. He's socially
awkward, always unsure of what to
say or how to respond to others;
those who are friends with him
always think he's one of the kindest
Volks around, sine he's always trying
to cheer them up. He's a dreamer,
and plans to one day find out more
about why humans are so intrigued
by his galaxy, comet furred body.

So, the reason why I, Chronette, would like this Volk! This would be my very first Volk, and I'm super excited over the fact this is based off of one of my favorite anime films. I also love galaxy-themed creatures - astronomy is an intriguing subject - and I've always thought comets, as well as meteor showers, were fascinating.

Volk's name: Rallen
Personality: A lot can be said of Rallen, but if nothing else you should know she's witty and idealistic. Of course she's also sympathetic, good-natured, and sweet, but these are in a balance so to speak, not one overpasses the other. Her wit though,this is pretty much what she's loved for. People regularly count on this and her energy when they're in need of support.

Nobody's perfect of course and Rallen has plenty of character faults too. Her shallowness and dishonesty are from ideal and reach all around. Fortunately her idealism is usually there to soften the blows. Now you may be wondering, how do people know what she's saying? How people understand her but it's all in the eyes and the facial expressions.
History: Rallen didn't have a rough life growing up. She grew just an ordinary Volk, i mean sure she caused mischief here and there but she didn't have many friends so she had to improvise. She loved to run and climb anything 3 feet above the ground. Mountains, trees, buildings you name it. Nothing was too tall for this girl. If she had the chance she would make as many friends as she could but not to many Volks were fond of her coloring. Rumors and lies were spread behind her back but that didn't break her. She grew stronger, ignored the rude comments, and chose to be the bigger person and move on.
Why I want this Volk: She would be my very first, and i happen to be a girl who loves space. Anything astronomy related count me in!
