What Can this Viscet Do To Get Inside Enemy Territory?
"Ah- so you're expectin' a story from me, yes? I guess I have to give, since no one else can tell, and no one else knows. Please, sit back and listen closely to my answer to your question."
Storm clouds started rolling in quickly, as Tsuru took cover under a tarp. She looked back at the soldiers who followed her lead, glaring slightly.
"Listen, you can't just sit here and sulk. You have to stay strong in this situation." She said firmly.
"But- our families-" Some one started, but was quickly cut off.
"Quiet, don't think about them right now. You can when we get back to base." She said, looking away for a second, as if she were sad. She looked back quickly, "Stay strong, soldier. Follow my lead." She turned and ducked under a few crates, staring at the camp that was just ahead.
The soldiers followed her lead as she opened the crate in front of her.
"Put these on." She said, pulling out some clothes the the enemies wore. She watched them as she already had hers on, cloth wrapped around her snout with a hood over her head, and camouflage shirt and cargo pants. The soldiers wore combat boots, as well, while Tsuru had an AK47 in one paw.
"Let's go." She muttered, starting off toward the camp without a fear. The soldiers followed quietly behind.
Thinking they were one of them, the gate-keeper opened the gate and allowed them in. Tsuru looked at the soldiers.
"Adventure like your a citizen. I'm goin' to find their boss." She said firmly, nodding sharply before turning and running off. The soldiers did as told, while Tsuru put the gun in the bag she had on, and continued on her way.
--
"Daktae." Tsuru shouted through the quiet hall that led to the room the boss was in, Daktae.
"What- Tsuru? How did-" He started, but was cut off quickly.
"Listen to me, Daktae," she said harshly, dropping the mask and pulling out her gun, aiming it at him, "we can do this the hard way or the easy way." She hissed as he stepped down, walking in front of her as she had the gun on his back.
As they walked, Daktae had his hands behind his head, scared out of his mind. She shoved him out of the gates before calling out to her soldiers, who came quickly.
"Restrain him." She ordered, which they did. She turned and whistled a loud, yet soft, tune to the air. A swarm of beetles and all sorts of flying insects emerged from all sides, attacking the civilians. She shut the gate and looked back at Daktae.
"You will no longer take control of us." She hissed.
"You're no leader, Vine." He shot back.
"I'm probably better than what you'd be."
"I am a leader."
"Not anymore." She laughed, kind of like a psycho, as she pressed the gun to his head.
"What are you going to do? Kill me?" He growled.
"No- not here. Pick him up and take him back to base," she ordered, crouching and staring directly into his eyes, a smile growing across her muzzle, "I have something planned for him."
--
As they made it back, Tsuru took Daktae and put him in a dungeon. She hung him upside-down by his ankles, with shackles that latched and pulled on both of his arms.
"Have a good life~." Tsuru smiled at him before shutting the dungeon door.
"Wait- you can't leave me here!" He shouted, words muffled as he did, the sound getting farther away as she walked, "I'll die! I'd rather die instantly than sit here- hey! I know you can hear me! HEY!"
Tsuru just laughed, closing the entrance door into the dungeon behind her, locking it.
--
It was quiet now; so quiet you could hear the trees brushing against each other, while the wind silently howled. There were no more attacks, and there was no more Daktae. Tsuru bent down and pressed her paw, and head, against a grave stone.
"I did it, mom, dad," she whispered, tears running down her cheeks as she croaked out, "I did it for you..."
"Tsuru... We are proud. Proud of you. You are strong, now, Tsuru; do not cry, as you know that we will forever and always be with you." A echoing voice said. Tsuru looked up at the grave, yet nothing was there.
"You're not going crazy, Tsuru. We do have a limited time here... to visit, yes." Another voice said.
"What..?" Tsuru asked, looking up at two glowing figures of her parents, eyes wide.
"We'll never leave your side.." The male said, smiling at her.
"My precious Tsuru..." The female said, putting a paw against Tsuru's face before they vanished from sight, instantly. Tsuru looked back at the graves and smiled softly, more tears flowing down. She hugged both of the stones tightly before standing, wiping the tears and standing straight.
"See you later, mom, dad." She said softly, before giving a slights salute then turning around and walking off. Thunder sounded in the distance as it began to rain, while Tsuru happily ran off back to the base.
Now that's a story only I could tell.
