Name: Monarcha (pronounced Monarch-uh) (a mix of the term Monarch and the name Monica


Gender and Sex: Female, Female

Personality: (100 word min.) Monarcha is a spunky, adventurous little viscet. She's always happy and never seems to let anything bother her. She loves all things sweet and sugary, especially honey and fresh nectar. She has never gotten into a fight and is always the one trying to create peace with everyone. Monarcha is a loveable creature that nobody can seem to hate. She's just one of those creatures you just can't dislike no matter what. Along with her loving personality, she's also super caring and would never turn her back on any creature no matter how mean or dangerous. Although she loves everyone, her favorite creatures in the entire world are butterflies. Their beauty can't be out matched with anything else. She's a protector of the butterflies and does everything in her power to preserve their species. (134 word count)

Nighttime Activity: maximum of 1.5k words, minimum of 300) Monarcha is a night owl. She hardly ever sleeps. At night, she loves to roam the nearby meadows, greeting every flower and bug she encounters as well as admiring the bright beauty of the stars. Her absolute favorite thing to do is run through the tall grass and watch as the fireflies explode into the sky around her. The little bugs seem to light up the entire world with their luminescent lights. Monarcha is a friend to all, especially bugs, so most creatures aren't afraid to get near her. When Monarcha is still, the fireflies will land on her, causing her to glow with a radiant array of yellows and greens. Sometimes the fireflies like to form pictures in the sky with their light and have Monarcha guess the image, kind of like charades. The fireflies are awful hide and seek players, as their glowing gives them away pretty easily, so Monarcha will hide most of the time while the bugs try seeking her out. She's very good at hiding since she has such a dark coat. The fireflies usually ask about her tail and why it doesn't glow; Monarcha likes to joke around with them and tell them that she's lost her light. She likes to think of herself as one of the bugs. Nothing makes Monarcha happier than seeing those around her having fun as well. (228 word count)

Fae is a very optimistic and happy viscet. She can be quite bubbly at times, and is very creative. She can be very stubborn as well, and at times very serious, but usually she is calm and a very good friend. If anything ever needed someone to help or talk to, Fae would volunteer immediately. Her family left her at a very young age, so she is used to being alone, and doesn't like seeing others sad, as it reminds her of her family. She would immediately try to make that thing happier, and by that, make herself happier as well. (101 words)

Fae does several things during the night. Fae's tail can glow in the dark, similar to a firefly's tail/light. So one of the things she enjoys is going out in the night, and find lost strangers, so she puts it upon herself to guide them through the dark to wherever they are going, until either they arrive or daylight strikes. Another thing she enjoys to do is find fireflies, and try to catch them. She finds it very unique that they can flicker on and off, so she always enjoys trying to find where they go, and catching them before the light fades. If you find Fae's 'home', you will probably see several jars full of fireflies lighting up a nearby pathway. That is also another thing she does to help others find their way through the night. Sometimes, Fae will take a walk through the forest, since it is quite calm at night, and all the sounds you can hear is from the environment, such as crickets chirping, and cicadas buzzing or clicking. Fae also enjoys collecting bugs at night, since it is easier to find and catch them. She owns several portraits of several bugs or items found on a bug pinned into the portrait's back. You are able to find a variety of butterflies, several locust and cicada shells, mermaid's pouches, and sometimes beetles. Fae is very proud of her collection, and is commonly referred to as "the collector of the night." Fae makes several trips during the night as well. She not only does the things mentioned above, but also finds berries and food for herself so she can make it through the day without having to scavenge through a crowded forest, filled with animals and pests. It is also easier for her to escape any predators. (302 words)

copernicus is used to a life of crime
and torture. he decided a few years
ago that he wanted to change the
worlds view on him so he became the
midnight hero. he spends his nights
prowling the streets in search of thiefs
and bullies and uses his light up tail
to distract them while he ties them
up and leaves them there for the
police to find. he has been recognized
as his towns hero and now owns the
key to the city. he has been seen
saving numerous lives. he is most
notably known for rescuing cats from
trees and for catching thiefs that
steals womens purses. copernicus
is extremely proud that he changed
his life around and hopes to keep
the crime rate of his city at a low.
copernicus tends to sleep in the day,
leaving his awake and alertness to
the night when hes needed. he is
basically nocturnal, able to stay
awake all night in order to fight crime.
of course, none of this would be
possibly without his pretty lightning
bug tail. copernicus has the strength
and intelligence to fight crime, but
its the suprise factor that really helps.
he blends in to the dark and then
surprises the criminal by flashing his
tail right in their face. it doesnt cause
blindness, but it distracts and confuses
the criminals just enough that copernicus
can stun them and tie their arms behind
their backs and call for the police to come
and retrieve said criminal. while copernicus
loves all of this, his favorite part is being
able to return a stolen or lost item to
someone. giving women back their purses
or delivering cats back to their owners
always makes him smile. he will never
forget the one small girl who drew him
as her way of thanking him for saving her
kitty
alias. midnight hero

saving a cat. "midnight hero saves pregnant cat from incredibly high tree" our very own and local midnight hero has started his week off right ! Mrs Betty, the flower shop owner, reported her cat had ran out the house one night and taken off straight up into a tree ! midnight hero received the call and took off ! he managed to get the cat down, who was pregnant at the time, and even stayed long enough to help the cat through childbirth ! midnight hero is saving lives and helping create them !
catching a thief. "midnight hero strikes again! repeat thief gets caught robbing second bank" the midnight hero is back and better than ever ! the infamous one eyed robber has struck again, but midnight hero has struck him out ! the robber, now known as one eyed pete, was robbing his second back when midnight hero heard the call ! he took off, managing to slip in and blend in to the dark colors in the room before rendering one eyed pete temporarily blind by flicking that bright tail of his ! one eyed pete is now residing in county jail, while we're sure midnight hero is off protecting more lives !

Name: Aponi - Native American name meaning "butterfly"
Gender and Sex: Female/Female
Personality: Getting right to it, Aponi's name doesn't entirely fit her personality. While she can be rather shy and elusive- even borderline skittish- she does actually quite enjoy playing tricks on others. Aponi could be considered a deviant from the norm, typically snickering at others misfortune even as she offers help. Aponi could be described as a "true neutral". She truly doesn't particularly care about what others think of her or how her action affect others as long as they aren't cruel or painful. This differs when she is around the very few that she cares for. She treats these viscets with care and respect, returning what they give her. Her pack consists of an alpha male, beta male, a healer, a sentry, and Aponi acts as a guard. This small group she tolerates willingly, but the last place Aponi would be caught would be a meeting between packs. To this day Aponi still cannot stand large crowds for reasons that are still a mystery to her. She knows part of it, at least; she's quite irritable. Luckily for Aponi, she's also very good at hiding it. Sarcastic to the very end, even on the occasions where her irritation does slip through it can easily be laughed of as her being her sarcastic self. One thing that never fails to give Aponi a boost is successfully defending her pack's land. Being able to snap or claw at an intruder always puts her in a good mood. Even giving a rouge a little scare with a snarl is enough to make her smile- she sees it as protecting her loved ones, after all. (271)
Nighttime Activity: Aponi doesn't normally have just one specific night time activity, but she is more often than not able to be found awake at night. Most things that Aponi can be sighted doing after dusk usually have something to do with her pack, as she rarely does things for personal gain. One of her favorite of these things would be patrolling the borders of her territory. While she does do this during the day, it is much more easy to do so at night with less scents and sounds making their way into her thoughts. This combined with her luminescent tail makes this a walk in the park for Aponi. She also uses it at a stress reliever- there are few who would argue that starring at a starry sky wont instill some kind of inner peace. On the rare occasion that there is an intruder or trespasser while she is on patrol at this time, she rarely actually engages them. This is the one and only time she'll do things for self gratification. Aponi uses her tail to falsely guide them- taking them down winding trails, and through dead woods and bush ,all while purposely making sounds from the bushes. The looks of sheer terror on their faces upon hearing some "beast" in the woods is too much for Aponi- who at that point often cracks and starts laughing, giving herself away and having to chase them off for real. Her superiors know about this, and while they don't know what to think of it they have noted that they have been lacking intruders since Aponi's joining them. Aponi's all time favorite activity for the night would actually have to be the simplest one- collecting herbs. Now, she has no idea what each herb does, only that the healer of her pack - Kodiak - needs them as the old herbs in store dry out and lose their usefulness. Kodiak the healer is truly the kindest soul she knows, and Aponi can't help but feel that she has to repay her somenow for putting up with her. Needless to say, it makes Kodiak's day when she wakes up to find a stack of herbs at her den opening- even if she does have to sort them out. (375)
