Knittens are a sentient species of plush creatures that reside in the deep woods. For years, they’ve
been created by a witch and her eleven assistants, who all take part in the planning, sewing, stuffing,
and decorating of the creatures. They are composed of various fabrics, and can be seen with pretty
much any characteristics in the book. Upon enchantment, Knittens come to life.

First knitten ever!! Sorry about the wait, I'm not feeling very well right now so drawing /designing took me a while!
This knitten is based off of a phoenix, symbolizing "rebirth" as to mark the opening of the species!

What does rebirth mean to you?: Rebirth is like an afterlife, like god giving you a second chance to live your dreams all over again, or a purpose, to save the world, to help those in need.
How could this knitten help someone?: This knitten can help someone by plucking one of her enchanted feathers out of her tail. These feathers are used to heal those that are injured, depressed, or suicidal. It takes a month for just one feather to grow from its behind.

What does rebirth mean to you?: Rebirth to me is seen as new beginning, the ability to start again or be renewed after a particularly hard event that may have befallen upon you. While in many definitions it is to be reborn from death, but in a living life it can be written unto quite near anything, most of which are positive in symbolism.

How could this knitten help someone?: I personally have been going through a lot in my life that has been greatly triggering my more volatile fits from a few things I struggle with and frankly I feel rather overwhelmed, spent, and lost. For awhile I've been wanting to start anew and just reset myself to find my focus again. With my life going in an uncertain direction with me closing up my senior year in high school, losing thise close to me in real life, and hitting a stagnant pool of my own self doubt in my ability to move on, I believe that this knitten might help to remind me to breathe and refocus, try and give myself time to stop and let myself become grounded when I feel that I am floating away. While my situation isn't as bad as most others, it is still valid to me and frankly already I think this knitten would hold a special place in my heart and become a refuge in which I can go to for help such as drawing it when I need to destress.

What does rebirth mean to you?: Rebirth to me is when someone who deserves another chance at life gets that chance, and can become something great. Rebirth to me is something I hope will happen to my cousin, she committed suicide because there was no way to fix her life, it was terrible. Rebirth is a way to apologize to time and yourself and have a do-over.
How could this knitten help someone?: My friend, Hannah, recently lost her cousin and little puppy in under 6 months. She was devastated and depressed and made up stuff to get attention away from her so she could cry it out. She has been begging for a kitten for forever and really needs one to cuddle with and just talk to, and this could give her hope. Recently she has been abused by her other cousin, called Isaiah. She has become a older sister when she lived her life as a single child. Her cousin who died recently stayed in her room and snuck out and took marijuana. She needs a friend like this, and her fav animal is a phoenix.
