personality: Rue is a pessimistic nihilist, usually seeing the worst in a situation and causing himself to panic. However, he clings to cute, nice little things like the pun above because they make him feel better about a situation without sounding too hopeful. Rue is easily anxious because of his outlook, often launching himself into panic attacks and sobbing all through the night over something stupid. He's clever, but often his humor is dry and straight faced which can either make people laugh really hard or not laugh at all. He tends to say things out loud that he doesn't really mean to, sometimes yelling out something he meant to only say in his head; usually this makes people laugh, so its not too big of a deal. Rue isn't shy, he'll say anything to anyone if he's asked to and his fueling reason for that is "it's not like any of this really matters anyway."
Despite his nihilistic outlook, he still fears death. He often convinces himself that every ache and pain is some undiagnosed disease and googles it all through the night which doesn't do much to ease his anxiety.
