Last year, Dissolve put out monthly adopts based on that month's birthstone, so I had the idea to keep the tradition going, but with pps adopts instead of adults!

Obviously is isn't January anymore, but since I only just had the idea tonight, I figured I would release January now and then February near the end of the month so I can stay on track! Anyway, I hope you guys like this little series c:

For this competition, I want your forms to be as aesthetically pleasing as possible. Give me a nice name to match that pretty form and some personality traits too! There will be an optional extra too. For the extra, just tell me about their items. Is this viscet royalty? Do they want to be royalty? Do they think they're royalty? Or do they just like pretty thing? Let's hear about it! But remember, try to focus on how visually pleasing your form is!

— I want to see those pretty forms! Bring on the coding! But remember, there is such a thing as too much. Keep it pleasing to the eye.

Amaranth’s egg had been found abandoned in the forest after two males, Tobias and Fable, had come across the egg when traveling. After searching for the parents and finding no signs of where they had left the two decided to adopt the egg and treat it as their own child. When Amaranth hatched Fable had almost cried at her beauty, cuddling the little one close and whispering sweet words to her. Fable had grown up a prince, but had run away after ‘the incident’, never going back, yet he still had some of his jewelry from the kingdom. Fable thought of Amaranth as his own daughter with his crush Tobias and would always call the little one ‘My sweet little princess’ and gave her the jewelry when she had grown up a bit. Amaranth wears it everyday, strutting around and always telling her two fathers how she is a princess. Fable knows Amaranth has grown attached to the jewelry and smiles every time she wears it. Amaranth herself loves the jewelry and feels incomplete without it. -176 words c:

scorn was painted on the queen's face when she realized that none of them were worthy- yet the youngest heir, garnet, hadn't been tested. her mother had chosen not to, saying that garnet was "not ready to be the true heir." hurt and angry, garnet stormed off to find her own crown, to prove that she was worthy to be known as the true heir of the kingdom.

a month had passed until she returned, presenting a bag of garnet gemstones, along with an enchanted headpiece and necklace, studded with garnets. because of the jewelry she wore, she was filled with the power of fire in her paws. her mother didn't believe her daughter, so garnet challenged her for the throne so she could prove it. the challenge was set and the battle begun. the duel was one the kingdom would never forget.

soon, the queen was dead and defeated, killed by garnet's flames. garnet claimed the throne and became the new queen, all thanks to her jewelry. (200/200)

Oren first came across Lucy while at work. At the time he assumed her parents were busy talking to someone, and had told her to stay put in the lobby. She seemed miserable, so in an effort to lift her spirits, he took a seat next to her and started up a conversation, eventually telling her about a crown his mother had left him. Eager to see the crown, the viscling demanded he pulled it out of his briefcase. Before he could tell her that he didn't have it on him, she was ushered away by an officer. While talking about the viscling's wit with a colleague, he discovered that she'd been abandoned on the station's doorstep and that they were trying to locate her parents. In an effort to take her mind off things as well as give her hope in the system, he asked an officer where she was staying and brought her the crown she'd asked for. When the search came up empty, Oren filled out the paperwork to adopt her. A few years later he bought her a garnet necklace, which she thinks is proof that he'll always love her like a father loves his daughter.
