Res (Finding a partner)
Blame is a coward but self-righteous
A funny little creature hiding out in me
Hate is power with a price tag
A funny little creature screaming out in me
Listen to me
Fear is a liar but he's been right before
If you fight your shadow, you'll get lost in a war
Ambitions a champ, but he's also greedy
Drunk or sober he always wants more
I always want more
I always want more
Lust is beauty in a body bag
A funny little thing that's screaming "Just use me!"

Story:
Rhodes has always been the type to be rough around the edges. He is known for his rough housing, and how he prefers to settle arguments with a tumble through the snow instead of trying to talk it out. He's all jokes and games with other dogs, hardly ever being serious. And very flirtatious, charming, with the females. Over all a very chatty and brute of a dog, although he is far from having a mean heart. He actually cares deeply for his siblings and friends, only problem is that he has a weird way of showing it. Mostly it is through tough-love and with it, he favors one sibling in particular, Loner.
Loner is the complete opposite of Rhodes. He is much more of a quiet and serious dog. He's sensitive, and as such it doesn't mix well with Rhodes behavior. They fight a lot, but at the end of the day Rhodes makes sure that Loner knows he does truly care. Despite the fighting and bickering between them, Loner always seems to go to Rhodes for help, as if Rhodes always knows what to do in impossible situations.
It has been this way ever since they were newborns. And it almost makes Rhodes seem cryptic, because he has helped Loner in those situations so many times that he grows tired of it. He wants Loner to stand up for himself, so what does he do? He seemly starts to abandon Loner all the time after hes done with him, creating more problems for Loner, but does he really abandon him? No, it's just Rhodes weird way of trying make Loner more dependent on himself instead of leaning on him for when he is in trouble. Whenever Rhodes "abandons" Loner, he is sure to be lurking in the shadows like a guardian angel, out of sight and out of mind for Loner. As they have grown older, Rhodes has slowly stopped lurking in the shadows. To him, Loner has become capable of guiding himself and making his own decisions. He doesn't need Rhodes help anymore.
But Rhodes was oh so very wrong. Things were going great, up until he noticed Loner looked a bit roughed up, and it's not the kind of roughed up that Rhodes does to Loner. Loner had become more quiet, Rhodes didn't even know that was possible, and even more distant. He knew something was up because Loner had also stopped arguing with him over trivial matters. Everything seemed to hit Rhodes hard and come at him all once, but the fact was those signs weren't new. They slowly accumulated over time. It left Rhodes no other choice then to confront Loner about what was going on, he wasn't about to let this continue on.
It took some time before Loner would actually admit what was happening, and in all fairness no one would really want to admit what Loner had to. The fact was that Loner was getting bullied when Rhodes wasn't around. Some dogs held a grudge against Rhodes, and Rhodes being Rhodes, he was a tough opponent to beat. Loner on the other hand... he's much easier to get at.
The news struck Rhodes hard and he wasn't going to let these dogs get away with bullying his brother. He knew exactly who had the nerve do it and he ran as fast as his legs could carry him, to show the huskies a piece of his mind. He did this out of spite and anger, but also in hopes that they would never touch his brother again.
Sadly this attempt did not work, it actually made things worse. The next time Rhodes saw Loner, Loner was limping...badly. Rhodes forced himself to push the rage down and actually think of a solution that will work. He didn't want to beat them up and just end up getting Loner even more hurt. After much deep thought, Rhodes came to the conclusion that he can't help Loner. Loner has to overcome these bullies himself. So that entire week he spent convincing Loner to stand up for himself, and then Rhodes spent the entire month showing Loner how to defend himself. During this, it seemed that Rhodes tough-love stopped. He wasn't playing any kind of mind tricks on his brother and they truly bonded. They laughed together for the first time, and they never once argued.
When it finally came time for Loner to face the bullies, Rhodes stood in the shadows and watched to make sure his brother was not about to die. There were three of them and only one of Loner, and Loner wasn't there to draw blood. He just wanted to be left alone in peace, and to ask the dogs to stop. Of course they didn't take kindly to it and he had to take some defensive measures. He didn't go overboard and remained respectful, even if he never received it from the other huskies. Although the defense lessons seemed to work, Loner managed to hold his own and get the bully dogs to leave him alone. They wouldn't be messing with him any time soon, but that's not to say Loner didn't have his wounds from the rumble with the other dogs.
When Loner had met up with Rhodes after the ordeal, Rhodes had began to gently lick at the tender spots and wounds. And he proceeded to take his brother back into their warm cozy home. He even stole the blanket off their owner's bed to make a small, but fluffy bed nest for Loner. He knew this was a big step for Loner and that Loner never wanted that outcome to have happened. For that he praised his brother for the first time ever. And he stayed to comfort him that night, he didn't want nightmares to plague his brother. Rhodes could handle getting in trouble from the owner's for one night, for Loner.
Although... does this mean Rhodes will continue to be more open with Loner, or will be go back to giving him tough-love?

Story: Brandon had it good when he was younger, he was born on a big and beautiful property. Brandon thought it was magical and nothing could ever go wrong there. By the time Brandon had opened up his eyes, he became extremely close to his little sister, Bree, who was always clinging onto him. Those two were inseparable. As they began to grow, Brandon was bigger and stronger, but he was always gentle with Bree. Right outside of the big, cozy barn where they were born, there was this big beautiful meadow surrounded by a tree line of great massive oaks in the distance. It was the perfect place to play tag and wrestle, and that is exactly what those two would do. They seemed to have endless energy the amount that they played. They played all day long and when they were tired they would go down to the nearby pond. They would have a drink and rest together on a big cool rock that was shaded by a tall, somber willow. One day came when they were off in the meadow as usual, this time Bree was chasing Brandon who pelted ahead, desperate to catch up she wasn't looking where she was going. Her paw got caught in a gopher hole while she was running and sprained it very badly. She howled in pain calling for her brother who immediately stopped and raced back to her. Dogs have a good sense of knowing when things are wrong and Brandon knew exactly what happened. He picked her up by the scruff and gently carried/dragged her back to the barn. The owners of the barn had put her paw in a cast and tied her to a post in the shade so she wouldn't run off into the meadow and hurt herself again. Brandon could have ran off and played with his other siblings in the meadow but instead he laid down next to Bree. He didn't leave her side until the paw had healed and the cast was taken off. However it wasn't long after that when it was time to sell the pups. I had selected Brandon because of his mature, calm demeanor with plenty of energy. My good friend chose Bree. We were warned that these two were inseparable but we figured they would get over it and make new friends. Boy where we wrong. The moment I drove away with Brandon, he started howling and digging at the seats. He wouldn't stop moving around, but eventually plopped down onto the seat. When I brought him home, the other dogs tried to play with him, however, he growled at them and nipped at my boys. I had to keep him separate from the other dogs. I became worried about him and called up a vet. She claimed that there was nothing wrong with him but I knew better than that. I called up my friend who had adopted Bree and heard she was behaving badly as well. We arranged a time where they could see each other again and soon his mature side returned when he saw his sister. They wrestled and played for hours. Brandon always gentle with her. After that we had schedule play dates and Brandon started to play with the other dogs, but he still had a huge soft spot for his sister that no other dog could replace.
As a young pup, I was so attached to my sister, Bree. When I first saw her wiggling away from all the rest of our siblings, I knew I needed to be by her side for as long as I could. That's why we did everything together. When the other pups wouldn't let her eat, I would push them out of the way for her. She was the runt and I was the biggest pup. I always had her back. We would run and play and I loved having a buddy. When she twisted her ankle, I cared for her and never left her side because I loved my little sis. Soon, we were each adopted and I couldn't take it. It felt as if part of my heart was being ripped out. When I saw her come running up to me, I felt so happy and warm on the inside. I wish I could always be with her.
