How she got her name: Two things earned her this name, one being her whirlwind puppy personality, and the other being her owner's love of Marvel movies, comics, etc. (Specifically the character Storm)

Well, Tempest was picked up from the shelter as a puppy. Her new owners were a dating college couple. Through four years of college and two years after Tempest was their dog, but some time after college they decided to get married and move to a new state. Unfortunately, they couldn't take Tempest with them at first because of car space and lack know of a a dog friendly place to live until they found a house. Tempest was left with a family member. This woman was going to replace her old tags with new ones with the proper state and address after her sister emailed them to her. She took off the tags that evening, planning on changing them in the morning when she went to the pet store. But Tempest escaped the house that night, not understanding why's she was in such a strange get place. She wandered the streets, trying to find her owners and ending up very far from her original home. Eventually the shelter picked her up, and here she is.
Personality:
Tempest is a cuddly girl. She is used to cuddling on the couch and watching a movie with her humans. She only ever lived with another dog once, and only for a month, but that was enough time for her previous owners to see that she was laid back and good with other dogs for the most part. She is high energy and needs plenty of activity in her life. She loves to run and chase squirrels, and has a reputation for being a ho,etc digger and carpet chewer. She has separation anxiety and will eat at the carpet incessantly if left alone. She is a sweetheart who has shown no signs of aggression. She can be possessive of her toys at times but only with other dogs, and in reality she is kind of a pushover, even with dogs half her size.
