Second Chance Shelter wrote:Second Chance Shelter is a dog and cat rescue where you can come to find a new member of your family. We rescue and rehabilitate dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes so they may have the chance to be placed into a caring home. All of our animals are special and deserve a chance to be happy with an owner that will care for them. The question is: are you ready to love them?

Golden German Shepherd (#86)
This guy was found wandering the streets and we couldn't help but take him in. He's pretty playful but seems to get spooked by any fast motions or loud noises, so try not to be too "extra" for him. He's rather fluffy, so he'll need to be groomed on a daily, but he seems to enjoy being groomed and cared for; for example, he loves baths. His collar was a gift from a kind adopter; it would've been put on his kennel buddy, the Golden Corgi, but alas, it didn't fit the smaller dog comfortably. Overall, he's pretty sweet and it beats us as to why he was wandering alone on the streets, but he's here now and he needs a new loving home; preferably with someone who wouldn't mind keeping him somewhat close with the Corgi.

Golden Corgi (#87)
The Golden Corgi wound up at our doorstep looking pretty matted. We took them in, fixed them up and realized that they were pretty... aggressive, to say the least. We couldn't let them near any other dogs at first, its a mystery as to why they don't snap at their friend here. They're short and small, but not to be underestimated. We've caught them secretly snuggling into the German Shepherd's fur, so maybe they're a bit of a softie at the heart ? It beats us. They don't really like to run a lot, as they get tired pretty quickly, but that's just them. It's probably best to adopt them if you're not into running and/or being active a lot; someone who's more of a stay at home person would be best for this dog.

Golden German Shepherd
((Partnered with ~Neon_and_Lylia~))
Username: Ame,
Name: Dusty
Gender: Male
What do they think of the Golden Corgi ?: Dusty thinks of the Golden Corgi as an adventurous pup with the need for speed. Dusty always sees the Golden Corgi running and praising their accomplishments. Dusty thinks of them as a praise-r who most likely would praise themselves and others. The German Shepherd doesn't think of them as a threat, rather as a good friend. He thinks they are really funny and have a lot of stories to tell as well as tales.
He enjoys talking to them and thinks of them as a joke-stir corgi.
They get along well like best friends and he would never leave her behind even if it was a bad situation. He thinks of them as a trusty companion that will always be by his side and willing to help him through think and thin times.
They have a bonding relationship and get along well. This is what Dusty thinks of his Golden Corgi friend. ((152/???))

Name: Spitz
Gender: Female
Why don't they snap at the German Shepherd ?: Spitz doesnt snap at their German Sheperd friend because they remind her of the dog she used to have a home with. This companion may be younger and more wiley than her old house mate but theyve got a similar spirit and look to them.

Sage

What do they think of the Golden Corgi ?:
Sage, commonly know as Sarge by his little campanion, the golden corgi, enjoys his fistey little, sarcastic, friendly pup. They where basicly stuck to each others side since the day they where abandoned, Sage is now quite sensitive and emontional. The golden corgi's jokes help lighten up his mode and takes his mind of the constant worry while he laughs and enjoys himself.

Name: Champagne
Gender: Female
Why don't they snap at the German Shepherd ?:
Champagne is very independent, but when she met the German Shepherd someone was there trying to protect her for the first time. She got used to their company and in time grew to trust them more than any dog before. They grew less independent and more dependent on each other, and Champagne not only tolerated the larger dog, but was fiercely devoted to him.

Golden Corgi
Username: Pasta.
Name: Reed
Gender: Male
Why don't they snap at the German Shepherd ?: This specific German Shepherd was actually important to Reeds survival. When Reed met this GSD he yipped and barked, expecting them to leave like a coward. Well he was wrong. The GSD picked up Reed as he squirmed and snapped. The dog finally stopped and set down Reed in what appeared to be a graveyard. Reed had questions but ended up quieting down after the GSD barked once for him to be quiet. Reed waddled behind the dog until a small marble house towered over them. The two walked in and it appeared to be the dog's home. It was filled with pine needles and grass, along with a partially eaten bird sitting in the corner.
