Story:
Under the light of the North Star Northelyn sighed. The snow glistened from the light of the moon, but that was no concern to this small and blind creature, she was focused on the light she sensed from an especially bright star instead. Northelyn whispered in song, knowing nothing would hear her.

"Guide me please, Guide me home.
Guide me where-ever I must go.
Take me anywhere... "

She stopped to glance down and hold back tears. Northelyn then wailed out in an off-key scream.

"Anywhere at all."

Northelyn let all her weight bring her down into the snow. She laid there, knowing her own kind were somewhere underground where they should be, warm and cozy, away from the chilly breeze. For a long time, she just stayed still, in peace. Dangerous for such a small creature, especially since her glow was easy for predators to spot, but Northelyn didn't really care. She sat in silence; then sang out in-between tears as she picked her head up toward the bright star.

"Maybe they've forgotten,
Maybe they don't care,
Maybe I'm just crazy,
Was It the false love I felt in the air?"

Northelyn then whispered, not in song.

"They probably don't even notice that I'm gone..."
