---- ➳ { There's nothing so kingly as kindness, and nothing so royal as truth. } — Alice Cary

          Full Name: Yvette Nadine A'dulain
          Nicknames: Eve, Evie, Snowflake
Occupation: First Princess, Heir Apparent of Arlasia

Setting: Medieval Era — Fantasy Realm ( Arlasia )

          Personality:

Loyal — When she was young, she learned the true value of loyalty by watching
her parents struggle through their relationship. As high nobility, daily pressure put
strain on every aspect of their lives, and Yvette was there to witness it all. Even the
thick walls and long hallways weren't enough to drown out the constant fighting.
Yet even throughout it all she remembered how much they still loved one another.
Every argument was resolved eventually, and every angered word was wiped away
with soft spoken compliments. She learned that loyalty was more than following
someone through their life's journey, but learning how to get over the bumps in the
          road together.

Intelligent — Her elder brother will claim that she inherited her knowledge
from him, even though he being adopted makes that quite impossible. Nevertheless,
Yvette plays along for his sake. As the heir apparent to the throne, it has been her life's
work to know everything about every subject, person, or place. She has been taught
since childhood not only how to be a ruler, but how to be an intellectual inspiration to
her people. Her father always says that in order to make good decision, you should
know everything about what makes the bad ones bad.

Graceful — When she was a child she was required to take dance lessons. Though
as a princess it was her duty to know the different steps and routines that seem to
follow along with every ball her family threw, her mother also said it was to weed out
the apparent clumsiness. She had, quite unfortunately, managed to trip over herself
many times in her life. Sometimes it was into furniture, and other times into people.
Her mother said this sort of flailing about didn't befit a person of her stature, and so
they went through the rigorous process of teaching her grace through dance.

Strong — As the heir apparent, she had to be ready to take on the world when her
father should pass. Most of the time, the world was not kind, and so she had to acquire
a sense of strength that outlasted the world. Her father showed her the strength of a
ruler, whereas her mother taught her the strength of support. Yvette strove to encompass
both types. It is her hope that she can someday prove to her people that she is worthy of
          their adoration and care.

Desperate — The downside to being next in line to rule is that often time you will
find yourself drowning in expectations. There is so much that she must live up too, and
her will to be only the best of rulers pushes her to the point of desperation. This has in
the past caused her much trouble and heartbreak.

          Brief History:

The kingdom of Arlasia is an old one, with the royal A'dulain family spanning generations
into the past. It is said that the first travelers to settle the lands were capable of ancient
magic, and cast a spell of protection over all the land. Though it is seen now as merely
myth, some still believe the tales as Arlasia has had many years of peace in its time.
There have been the occasional disputes with neighboring kingdoms but only one has
turned to war. The lands to the south, the kingdom of Rasland, were angered that their
Arlasian allies did not aid the Rasland King in his quest to conquer the kingdom of Galadan.
This caused the Rasland King in turn to attempt to takeover a small village in Arlasia, and
          started the war.

This was during the time that Yvette's father, King Ronald, ascended to the throne following
the previous ruler's early departure. Due to intelligent strategies and enhanced diplomatic
experience, Ronald was able to win the war with very little lives lost from his people. It
brought about a booming economy from the war's profits and trade between other kingdoms
were more open than ever. The King Ronald as his family become the most beloved family in
all of Arlasia history, with the commoners delighted of his reign and the future reign of his
          daughter Yvette.

Before she was born, however, the succession of the throne was placed into question. The
Queen, Irene, was unable to produce an heir for many years after she married King Ronald.
There were questions as to whether or not the King's deceitful sister Eliza would take his place
should anything happen to the King during the war. Eventually, the King and Queen decided to
adopt a young commoner boy named Warren. According to Arlasian laws, an adopted child of
the current ruler was thereby placed hierarchically above the ruler's siblings, but lower should
the current ruler produce a biological heir. The people's fears were put at rest with Warren as
heir apparent, and even further so when new arrived that Queen Irene finally had a daughter.

Despite the circumstances, Warren was never bitter toward his adopted sister. In fact, he was
elated to learn that he would not have to rule the kingdom. Instead, he devoted his waking hours
to the care and love of Yvette, whom her cherished deeply. The entire family was noted for their
sincere and honest love for one another, and whenever they arrived in public they were by each
          other's side.

          Crown: Royal Circlet (Silver)
In Arlasia, it is tradition that those of royal nobility wear circlets, whereas the current
ruler wears a full head crown. The hierarchy of the individual determines the color of the
circlet. Gold is worn by both the ruler and their significant other, silver is reserved for the
heir apparent, copper belongs to related prince and princesses, and black circlets are worn
by various others of other noble birth.
