Monitored in forests across the globe for years, these animals
have recently been declared naturally tame as well as sentient.
Scientists are asking the general population to consider adopting
Kalons for further study in their capabilities of intelligence.

What's with the Bell? {100 words min}

She has always love cows and has adored them all of her life. Every one she has seen has had a bell around its neck so she always assumed that it was a general part of them. Her lifes goal was to become a cow and would often buy milk when she was younger then drink it all hoping she would grow an utter so she could be a part of the cow community seeing she shared the common feature. As she grew up she learned thats not how biology works and has settled with studying them but she still didn't have a bell like she wanted. She became a top researcher and would often travel around studying the cows in different areas. She often didn't have time to look for that special bell but recently she found a small store selling used items. She thought there was a chance of a cow bell in there and took a look. Of course she was right and bartered for it happily. She was satisfied knowing now she was what she considered a cow.

What's with the Bell?: He found the Bell when he was little, and it always seemed to give him good luck whenever he wore it, so he decided to keep it. Even when his family offered to buy him a new one he refused, he felt they wouldn't bring him the same luck.

What's with the Bell? Inui has had her bell since she was young. In fact, she's had it pretty much since she was born. Only a day after her birth, she received the bell as a gift, or more like she received the bell as a peace offering to her parents, as well as a betrothal. Inui was born into a very wealthy and very prestigious family who had incredible political power. The children of the family were married off once they were of age, but usually they were betrothed only a day or two after they were born. The bell was given to her as a sign of wealth from the other family into which she would marry, and she treasures it. Even though the uncertainty of betrothal worries her to no end, Inui can't help but be optimistic for the future and excited for what's to happen. {145}

Kosuzu's bell was given to her by her father. As a child, she was always the sneaky type. Her footsteps were extremely light, which would make her a very good hunter- but also made it impossible for her parents to keep track of her. So, he gave her the bell so that he could hear her walking around as it rang when she stepped. Even after she ended up growing out of her child phase and not really needing to wear the bell for her parents any more, she still decided to keep it as a memento of her childhood. Sure, it makes her a bit less potent at catching insects, but it's also nice enough to be a fashion statement.

What's with the Bell?: Ever hear of a Soothe Bell? It may just be an item from the infamous Pokemon games, but Bumble wears her bell necklace in an attempt to soothe others. It's sound is nowhere near as shrill as bells you'd find above store doors or any other bell; the only sound that it creates is soft and controls, not jingling wildly with every movement. Her soft fur helps muffle the sounds when they're not required. Bumble is a therapist and often distraught Kalons come to her seeking emotional help. When a particularly upset Kalon comes to her, she gently twinkles the bell. More often than not, this tactic helps put the other Kalon in a well enough state for Bumble to truly help. But when it doesn't, she's got back-up plans.

What's with the Bell?

The bell is a collectible, and is June's most prized bell from the rest she has found through the years. It started out as a simple out of the blue hobby as a child to a full on obsession of collecting bells of all shapes and sizes! She found this specific bell one day while returning home from a long day of work, a stressful one too. When she found lying down on the street right in front of her paws, she couldn't help but to take it home and keep it all to herself, since it didn't seem to have an owner. Today, she enjoys wearing it and hearing it's sweet jingles as she goes about her day.
