The pot wasn't much to look at. It was the result of a first time ceramics class, and there were random bumps and divots where my untrained hands worked the clay on the pottery wheel. The paint-job was subpar at best, my last, in vain, attempt to cover up the lumpy ceramic underneath. A background of a highly tinted red-violet displayed different variations of flowers made with organized sweeping brushstrokes in every color imaginable. It may not have been much to look at, but I was proud of it. As soon as I could I had planted the little cactus in the pot. Maybe one day, when I get better at pottery, the cactus could graduate to an even better looking pot. [123/200]

Imagine that this kalon was a real cactus. What kind of pot would you house them in? A tan clay pot on the taller side of the spectrum. It has spots and lines of darker and lighter spots but it's overall a tan pot. It's more of a medium quality item but it still holds up pretty good. A few spots from spilling's and a few drips of paint on the back but other than that it is relatively clean. A small blue you did it star sticker can be found on the right side of the rim along with three other tiny stars with no writing on them.

Imagine that this kalon was a real cactus. What kind of pot would you house them in? (Decribe in 200 words or less) If this Kalon was a cactus, I would like to imagine them in a light colored porcelain bowl, with a design similar to the waves of the ocean already etched into it. The smooth feeling bowl itself is opaque, but has a iridescent shine to it as you spin the bowl around over and over, seeing different colors each spin you make. Other etchings are seen more toward the rim of the bowl, much more smaller but intricate, resembling sea shells.

Ruth's pot would be a simple brown pot you would buy at an art shop for cheap, with a sloppily painted ocean on it, most likely done by a child. Despite the poor paint job, this pot would be kept well, without any cracks throughout the many years it had managed to be held dear to someone without being thrown out. The painting would have chippy yellow, blue and white paint and large blotches of the brown of the pot still showing. The pot smells like the sea and has a strange nostalgia to it.

Weathered, cracked and sporting a chipped layer of red paint. The pot appeared to have been old and long forgotten as it appeared to have a layer of dust on it as well. Alas, inside the pot things were well. The pot was home to a cactus, which was alive and well. Although the pot was well worn, the owner thought that gave the pot character. This character was the reason the individual kept the pot and continued to use it for plants.
