~Caramel Apple Slices~

Always had a sweet tooth,
I fancied those caramel apple slices,
So I took a bite,
Sweet on my tongue,
Now I don't feel the same,
Without craving, wanting,
Desiring more of that sweet taste,
With slight sourness,
Soft, crispy, crunch,
Ripe, and green,
Cut not too thin and not too thick,
Dipped in a paste of golden sweetness,
Caramel apple slices,
My only desire

What might you ask,
Is my favorite food?

Oh please,
Can't you see,
tis the zebra cake!

These round little cakes,
So decorated in stripes,
Are simply the best of types!

They are in fact,
the epitome of delicious!

It's not up for debate,
These cakes are not to hate,
But to love dearly,
For they are clearly,
Exquisite!

Swirled with whipped cream and a cherry on the top
Sitting temptingly in a tall glass
But you were out of reach
I could see you through the window of the restaurant
Melting away in front of my eyes
Like your life was ebbing away from you
With creamy liquid tears running down the side of the glass
Over time the cherry sank deeper into the velvety fluid
Until it disappeared into the thick goo
