The moment Hudson announced to Finley and Malia that Luna had her kits, they both swarmed around their mother excitedly, trying to get a good look. The kits were covered in blankets, so there wasn't much to see at that moment. But sure enough, 3 little kits were snuggled against Luna's side, as she bowed her head down lovingly.
Finley climbed up on his mother's back, followed by his sister, as they both looked down at the kits in wonder. "They're so small." Finley whispered, poking the blue one with his paw. "Can we name them?"
"Well we haven't thought of names just yet, but I was thinking maybe Oliver for Mr. Blue right here?" Hudson responded.
Finley shook his head. "No that's ugly."
Luna tried not to snort with laughter.
"How about Sawyer? He looks like a Sawyer." Malia pitched in, looking into her little brother's pink eyes which were barely open.
Finley nodded. "I like Sawyer."
They continued swapping names for the other 2 kits, which were both girls, before they finally settled on Theia for the light brown kit and Kennedy for the darker brown.
Finley gave each of his little siblings a pat (even though Luna kept telling him to be more gentle) and welcomed them to the family.
