Can they actually tell fortunes?: No. Most people post just about everything on social media anymore. From where they live, to who their friends are, to what they ate that day and, more importantly, how they are feeling. Through the simple question of 'What is your name?' They can find out almost anything about their customer. Of course, this is done with a lot of 'focus' and 'meditation' on Willows part, while Whisper searches for any form of social media they may have online. It is rare that people don't have a form of social media, now, but in the off chance that they do not then they tell fortunes from the newspaper, typically based on zodiac.
How does their tail play into their job?: Whisper uses a pen or pencil to search the Internet for information on their customer. It will find most recent posts on their customers social media to gather an image of what might be going on in their life. Whisper will then whisper the information back to Willow, who will then give general advice on how to go about the problems that she sees looming over her current customer. If all else fails and no information is found online about a customer then Whisper will whisper horoscopes from the newspaper to Willow from under the table or behind her.
Personality: Willow is a fairly easily persuaded individual, or, at least by Whisper she is. It doesn't take much for Whisper to persuade Willow into doing something, even something she does not agree with. It might be said that Whisper can be a fairly cruel bully to Willow, though she would never say it was. She would just claim that Whisper is attempting to push her to greatness. Despite the two ripping people off, she tries her best to make up for this by gifting a lot of what she takes to homeless or those less fortunate than herself. But if Whisper desires something, it, as always, doesn't take long for it to persuade Willow to waste the money on it. Willow is typically calm, quiet, reserved, and a little shy, though due to what she does she has come to be fairly good at acting. When she is at work she assumes the role of 'Madam Willow'. A confident, wise, and caring young viscet. She doesn't hesitate when giving her advice, which is often whispered to her by Whisper, nor does she stutter or stammer like she does when outside of her tent and work. Whisper is greedy, gluttonous, envious, and can be downright mean and cruel. Though it tends to be more passive aggressive than straight out aggressive. Whisper may have a touch of kleptomania, being a tail it can get away with a great deal, and even if it does get caught, Willow is the one that suffers.
More about Whisper.~ Whisper has no eyes, and thus can not see in a way that most see. However, Whisper, can, in fact, see. It has a complete 360 view of all angles. It also can somehow see much further than the average being, it's sight being on par with a bird of prey, such as a falcon. Despite using social media to discover certain things about their customers, there are other oddities that Whisper knows without help. This seems to be mostly items on a person, or how much they have in their wallet, or how much they paid for a ring. Whether or not they know more about people than this is not yet known, and chances are they only mention these values due to being excessively money hungry and a thief.
Whisper does not need to eat, it has no stomach of its own. Yet again, there is an oddity with it. Should Whisper 'consume' something, perhaps a watch or wallet, it shall be stored within a separate 'dimension', as it calls it. Though it calls this dimension its stomach, this dimensions capacity is limitless, allowing Whisper to hold as much 'loot' as it possibly could ever dream of holding. Should it ever desire anything that it had eaten, at any point, it will simply 'vomit' up the item. This is a completely clean process, no saliva or bile is included in this process. In fact, the included sounds of gagging are most likely just for show on Whispers part.
It should be known that living creatures can not be consumed, any flesh seems to break down within the 'dimension' inside Whisper. This only seems to go for fleshy creatures, as plants somehow manage to survive, though not for long. Thought small bits of examination, it seems the other dimension must be cold, as anything that is retrieved from there is almost always freezing.
