What are keetins?

To be read in a David Attenborough voice.
Keetins are small, agile mouse creatures that live within the trees of any forested climate in the world, and are closely related to the Twiglet species. They can't run very fast or fly, but they are terrific at leaping and climbing, despite their short limbs. These little guys tend to be tamed as companions and will often be seen riding their handler's shoulder, pockets or hiding in their hair. Keetins will never grow any larger than a squirrel, baby Keetins (called Kits) can be as small enough to fit in the palm of your hand. A Keetin's diet consists of their favourite food, Strawberries! However they are also seen eating other fruits and sometimes cakes.
A group of Keetins is called a Keetai (pronounced key-tie). They communicate through a series of small pips and mews.
When happy, a Keetin will release a scent from a gland inside it's ear, making it smell beautifully like strawberries.

How They Met Their Best Friend:
Alumina met SnowBear while she was shopping for Halloween candy at the local candy shop. He was looking to see if they had gotten their Christmas candies early and while they weren't looking where they were going they bumped into each other. At first they were a little mad at the other for not watching where they were going but after they talked for a bit they found out they had a lot in common and become close friends ever since!
Their Typical Halloween Together:
well first they pick up a HUGE amount of candy the week before and get it into cutie little bags for the trick or treaters, then they figure out what they both want to be for Halloween and help each other makes their costumes, then it's off to decorate either homes together and get pumpkins to carve. They carve the pumpkins the day before and get their bags ready for Halloween night.
Then Halloween night they got out trick or treating together and gets tons of candy and go back to SnowBear's home to check out their stash and have sleepover eating candy and watching scary movies.

How They Met Their Best Friend:
Sweetie met her best friend Cosmo during the time at her friends Halloween party, Sweetie was the headless man with a pumpkin head and Cosmo was a werewolf. They loved scary thing on Halloween. Sometimes in the years, they'll dress up as in the same costume to match. Other Keetins would make fun of them so they were so close. But during Halloween every year yes would scare their bullies for fun to get back at them.

Their Typical Halloween Together:
They'll think about throwing a huge Halloween party at Cosmo's every year. Sweetie would make lots of delicious treats for the guests, make up fun games to play, and a costume contest for the most creative or scariest.
