Fave foalhood memory: Topaz's favorite memory of her foal years was when she met a frog. She was playing out in the field with other foals, like she usually did when her mother was busy working with beginner riders, when she found what seemed to be a slimy ball of moss, clinging to a tree. The other foals continued to play, while Topaz watched as the frog croaked. Topaz didn't know exactly what it was, so she tried to eat it. The frog, simply trying to survive, leaped from the tree and onto the foals muzzle. There the frog stayed, happy that he was finally tall. Topaz loved the frog, who she named Ralph, and always met up with him in the same spot, at the tree. Topaz never knew if the frog loved her like she loved him, but she liked to think that he did. Ralph ended up leaving months later, though Topaz was not sad. She was happy! Happy she had made a different species friend.(wip o3o)

Fave foalhood memory: It was November, and all of the bright green leaves turned a brown-orange color, and fell down to the cold, hard ground, leaving a thick coat of leaves to play in. Kat, and her few friends took advantage of these leaves, and raced untill the sun fell behind the now-bare trees, and their humans called them in to eat their dinner with their mother. One day during turnout, all of the leaves where gone, hidden underneath what looked like a blanket of white. This really wasn't here before, and Kat had no clue what it was untill her friends whinnied behind her- "Snow!" She whinnied and tossed her head happily. Her friends, who came from a place where it constantly showed told her about it. It was white and soft and covered the entire forest and beyond. I've always wanted to see snow! She thought as she ran to the back of the meadow to play with her friends They played all day, even after the sun disappeared, leaving a dark night behind. Their humans let them stay out for a few hours later then the usally did. She had a lot of fun whinnying and racing her friends. She liked to say that she won all of them, when in reality, her friends beat her most of the time. That was her favorite memory because she had a lot of fun playing, and that was the last time she played with her friends before they got old enough to ride, and taken away to another stables.

CC was a bright foal, and enjoyed hanging in the pastures
with her friends, and prancing a round with her head held up high.
One day, as CC was about to start her morning routine, she
noticed something different. She walked slowly out of her
stall, only to see the other foals weren't in the pasture,
they weren't in their stalls. and they weren't in the stable.
I perked my ears alarmly, sounding a loud neigh. Before I
knew it, one of my fellow stable mates, came up to me
and greeted me. "CC! Where have you been! There's 2 new
additions to the barn, and they aren't your usual horse!
" How could that be so? " CC replied. She ran off, and
i followed after her. We ran all the way out of the stable,
to the driveway, where there was all the horses surronding
a float. All of a sudden, the float doors opened. it was dark
in there so i couldn't see the horses clearly.
a little after, out popped the weirdest colored horse, followed
by the mother. Soon did i realise, they weren't just any other
horse. They had stripes, like i had never seen before...
"It's a Zebra!" one of the horses yelled. I looked at it tilting
me head, trying to work out that it wasn't a horse. "A zebra?"
I thought Zebra's where black and white?" Boy was I wrong.
my mother looked down at me. "She is an Albino zebra. Not
all zebra's come in black and white." I looked confused.
I Pushed my way through the crowed to get to the zebra foal,
and greeted her. "Hi, i'm Ciara, but you can call me CC!" She
looked at me, and smiled. "Nice to meet you CC, i'm Zoe. Zoe,
the zebra" "I love your name, would you like me to show you
around the stables? my mum can show you around the stables
aswell?" " Sounds good!". We walked off, running after each
other. CC never imagined of having a best friend, and she
definatly didnt imagine of having a zebra as one. let alone
an albino zebra! "ugh, it's so much better her then the circus.
all they would do s whip me, and tell me to do tricks."
"you worked at the circus?" "Sure did, it sucked. im so
happy to be here! no crulty, no whips." I smiled, and we
raced down the hall. Thats how me and Zoe became best
friends, and we still are till this day!
