a lovely pair of spider pieds!

these pythons aren't so normal, though... both carry a new gene called chimera!

chimera is caused by a mutation that makes the affected python portray more than one morph, often in patches. like all mutations [in this adoptable] it has a 1/10 chance of passing to offspring and a 1/5 chance if both parents carry it. it is incredibly rare, so these snakes are real gems!

now, as for the competition, you're going to need to find a partner. each of you will choose a python to try out for and fill out the form listed on each python's page. you will be competing as a team, and if you win, you will both receive the python you tried out for.

Nagi was out in the fields one day when a spider pied just like himself emerged in the grass infront of him. The snake was hunting and obviously not one to be messed with but Nagi still approached him.

The other snake was quite aggressive hissing, "go away" he said. At first Nagi quickly turned around and left the other snake alone.

This carried on for several weeks, sometimes other snake got so annoyed that Nagi kept showing up he nearly attacked him. Nagi never even flinched at his attacks because of his calm nature. Nagi realised the snake did not appreciate him turning up all the time but Nagi carried on going to the other snakes hunting field.

Eventually the other snake, that nagi found out was called Neiko, began to be more friendly. Neiko still told him to leave but not as aggressive and without hissing. Nagi was slowly befriending neiko. For many weeks Nagi arrived at the field and Neiko still carried on telling him to leave but Nagi was persistant and was not going to just stop showing up. The telling to leave was a lot friendlier though now and it began to feel like a joke.

Until one day neiko suddenly said nagi was allowed to stay and hunt. Nagi's persistance worked and they were now friends.

Sometimes neiko would still ask nagi to leave but they were very rare by now. They were great friends
