I stumbled across the dry dessert, searching for any water. 'This is it' I thought. 'I'm going to die....' I collapsed onto the earth and closed my eyes. When my eyes opened, there was a large bold gelding standing over me with calm eyes. At first I flinched and backed away, only to slip into a small oasis pool. I looked at the water then back at the gelding who had saved me. I smiled a bit and he came closer. 'How did he do this?' I thought to myself as my hand gently touched his nose.
