What would make you more active in the teke community? Hm... This is hard for me to answer as I have yet to find an adoptable community that I really want to be a part of. This isn't meant as an insult or affront to any of the adoptables on CS or their communities, I'm just really picky and sometimes too lazy. What would get me interested in being part of a community here would probably be... maybe some little competitions of some sort? It doesn't have to be anything big or fancy, but it could get people to interact more in the community (especially if you did something in which multiple people had to work together) and give their Tekes (or perhaps someone else's - i.e. you have to draw one of the other contestant's tekes) some more attention. Maybe you could have little contests like that every month or so. Something to look forward to, a project, something fun to keep people's attention from wandering away. Also, I've noticed that I don't often see many Tekes up for adoption. Maybe I just have really bad timing, but I find myself checking less and less often as I find fewer and fewer opportunities to get another Teke.
What do you think would be good for the species? The Tekes are quite wonderful already. I can't think of anything that would improve the species itself, but if you're trying to get people more interested in Tekes, maybe what you need is something that stands out somehow. Not necessarily a big
change or
addition to the species. Just some little
improvements on what you already have. I can't think of anything specifically. Just... something that stands out, grabs one's attention.
Is there anything you'd like to see from me, the owner? I can't think of anything. (:
Is there anything you'd like to see from artists? Perhaps more vividly colored Tekes? I don't mean "vivid" as in neon or bright orange or anything crazy or unrealistic. I suppose a better term would be "rich." I tend to avoid more plainly colored adopts ― and by this I don't mean that I avoid browns and black and chestnuts because they're just one solid color; I mean I that avoid dully colored adopts, one's that aren't rich and striking in hue, regardless of their base coat. I'm not sure I've explained this quite right. I'll try it with some visual aid. For example, I'd be more likely to go for an adopt that looks like
this than one that looks like
this. They're both bay, obviously, but the former is much more rich in color than the latter, which is a somewhat more dull and lackluster shade of bay. Not that there's anything wrong, per se, with the latter. It just doesn't look as appealing as the multi-hued, more richly colored first one.
