Tall, lean frame, round ears, and bright eyes, Xholis are diurnal, hierarchal, and intelligent species that wield the forces of nature. Xholis are social animals that can be recognized into 2 different clans. The ones that hunt at dusk, and those that hunt at dawn. Their pelt reflects their environment as the Dusk hunters tend to have darker palette while the Dawn hunters are significantly lighter. Between those two clans, the species are once again split into more diverse and specialized packs. Fire, Earth and Water are the most common forces of nature that each Xholi wields. The gem they are born with determines their attribute, which is effected by the parent's gems. Every Xholi is given a role befitting their status in the pack, and the leader of the each pack is expected to keep the peace.

- and when his eyes first opened they were the purest emerald -
The emerald of trees and deep dark water, of magpie wings and distant hills. But his chest, it appeared on fire... as if a flame had engulfed his lungs and the single drop of viridian on that fragile body. As if he was a burning dove. As if he was both the forest and the fire burning it, and could not be rid of either one. A tragic contrast, or some metaphor.
- and then he became the most gentle and silent hunter -
as every white bone ached with every fallen prey, but his heart more so. Because, had he not been so good at it, Encho would have never become this, a killer. There was no malice in his being, no desire to chase a breathless animal. Knowing it was necessary, perhaps noble, was the only thing that sparked enough of a fire in his kind eyes to continue his work. But there was no pride, or thrill, only day-dreams of white unstained birds. A tragic contrast, or perhaps some metaphor... ❧
