Scar got his scars when he ran into a tolter he didn't get along with. The two of them thought they both were the best at racing, so naturally a fight broke out between the two of them. The other male ended up pushing Scar into a barbed wire fence and that is how he got his physical scars. There are many more scars on his psyche from the assault, however, leaving him as an anxious mess whenever it comes to dealing with other tolters in any social situation.
