Little lights,
Filtering through the leaves.
A calm summer's day,
quiet after the first storm.
I sit, silent.
Small crickets chirp,
A frog hops nearby.
My mare whinnies in the pasture,
Surrounded by the buttercups.
The cool breeze stifles the heat for a moment,
my hair ruffles.
A kind Summer's day...
