Kaname is quite the passive type, so passive he doesn't have
much care for anything. There isn't much he believes that is
worth his time, and the lack of ability to see gives him even
more reason to not have much interest in anything. Because
of all this, Kaname has a blunt personality, he has never been
interested in sugar coating what he says or beating around
the bush. He believes you get to the point and say it how it
is, and he wouldn't want others treating him any differently.


Kaname doesn't think much of family, he knows not to grow
attached to others. Death being his specialty he knows life
ends,and so it is useless to consider anyone inseparable to
himself. Often this makes him entertained by young couples
that promise love and being there forever. The only type of
attachment he has to a select few is familiarity, this belongs
to those that are his siblings. They are the only ones Kaname
is interested in being around, or feels comfortable around,
but he knows not too become deeply attached to them.

I have to give a thanks to Ice and Vintage for making such a gorgeous species,
with a Native American background and interest I was extremely attracted to
the species, they are like apart of my ancestry, an attachment. This amazing
boy and the adding of the ram horn DCs just seemed to be a great addition.
I don't know if Vintage put it there on purpose or not but when I was drawing
this guy, I noticed there was a little bear head like design on his hindquarters.
I personally thought it was adorable and I bonded with it, if you did it purposely
I adore your sneakiness, if you didn't, that makes it even cuter to know the
bear on his butt was an accident.

Sparatus is efficient almost military in his way of living life. While he cannot see, Sparatus is still a very valuable friend due to his kind heart and gentle nature. He may be very by the book but he'd still rather know the ones he loves are happy be they friends or family. Sparatus can still fight pretty damn well despite being blind, years of being unable to see have enabled Sparatus to fine tune his other senses to a point where they outrank the faint memory of sight. He tends to be a little sarcastic every now and then but he has a good heart and more often than not will use sarcasm in a joking manner. Sparatus never lets anyone walk over him just because he's blind. Being fully blind doesn't mean he's a sniveling coward who can't do a single thing without someone always being right next to him.

He is very loyal to those he is most close to, nothing will stand between him and protecting his loved ones. Sparatus doesn't lose his temper often and can be absolutely ready to charge someone while projecting an incredibly calm facade. A great believer of weakness is not failure, Sparatus despises those who would pick on those smaller than themselves simply because they are bigger and stronger.

I freaking love you for making this design. I followed your link from the main thread and about died when I saw this stunning gentleman! All your designs are so wonderful and I'm literally still in awe over this guy because he is so darn epicly amazing and I adore him. The fact that you and Ice made such an interesting species is so fantastic and wonderful! Sure they may not resemble anything of my heritage, not that I know much about it mind you you haha. Still the species is fantastic and I thank both you and Ice for the opportunity to adopt such a beautiful boy <3

- His views on family
Family is important to him. Without his family this handsome gentleman wouldn't have made it to where he is now. He may not actually come into contact with them all that often but he loves his family more than anything in the world. Sparatus is deeply fond of his siblings and wouldn't trade them for anything in the world.

His mother knew coddling him would hinder his development into a sensible adult. So she merely taught him to use the remaining senses he was born with. An education that clearly paid off due to Sparatus still being around and perfectly healthy to this day. She was such a proud mother, never letting the fact that her kid had been blinded at such a young age and that his clouds mean death bother her. She loved him despite his flaws

~ I'm a happy, cheerful guy, surprisingly. Most people think I'd be a depressing, goth- like creature, but really, I am the optimist, the one who relishes in sun and cowers in the dark. It's funny to see other's reactions when they get to know me.
I have a few close friends. We have lots of inside jokes, and we laugh a lot. I mean, they always said laughter was the best medicine!

I think this is a wonderful DC that you have brought us. He's very unique. I love how instead of sticking to common natural coats, you made him a special design, which is really awesome.

~My family isn't always the easiest. You know, my mother was one of those moms who was very... overprotective. My blindness made her worrisome, and she wouldn't let me get 5 feet away of her. As you can imagine, this bothered me greatly, and I would snap at her every so often for treating me like a baby.
The rest of my family- well, just my dad- he was very ignorant. Being an extremely handsome Deus, he thought very little of me and my dark design. I think it suits my personality perfectly.
My siblings never played with me, and I grew a bit lonely after a while. I never had anybody to play with, and I wanted something to do. I repeatedly wandered farther and farther away from our home until I ran away forever. I haven't seen my parents since, but I do wonder if they miss me.
