A fine, filmy substance consisting of cobwebs spun by small spiders, which is seen especially in autumn.

ｎｉｃｋｎａｍｅ >> Gauze, Gossy, Mer

Gossamer is called mostly by a few nicknames, the most used one being Gauze. The reason being is that it fits his job position, being a doctor and all. Gauze is one of those big cloth bandages used on larger wound, and Gossamer is able to fix up wounds, hence the nickname. Gossy was coined by the children that he watches over. Gossy is much easier to pronounce and sonds more friendly to young ones so he only lets them call him that. Gossamer is rarely ever referred to as Mer. Usually only the very young deer, just learning to pronounce words, will call him Mer. The only other reason Gossamer is referred to as Mer is when another deer is trying to annoy him.

Serious- Gossamer doesn't take anything lightly. For this deersert it's all work and no play, he wastes no time on necessary horse-play. He can't take a joke and it takes some one special to make him laugh. Gauze won't even spare a second glance to most nonsense other deer participate in.

Blunt- Gossamer is very straight forward with his word choice, he doesn't like to beat around the bush. This rule isn't brocken even when there's bad news, he won't sugarcoat it for you. Most come to him and ask good ol' Gossy to be the bearer of all things bad.

Sarcastic- This deersert can be very witty with responses to others. He tends to ask rhetorical questions often and gives snarky remarks. He will often glare at an other if they way something he dubs dumb.

Mean- Sometimes Gossamer can be plain old mean. There's no way around it; He always seems to have a judgement towards another. Gauze isn't afraid to ruin your day and won't feel a tinge of regret when done.

Grumpy- Gossamer is almost always in a bad mood. The only time he seems to be happy with himself is when young ones are around. Otherwise Gossamer will not want to participate and probably leave at first chance.

Short-tempered- Others can get in Gauze's way very easily as for this deersert like everything to be precise. He will often yell at another if they bother him just enough or move some item of his. Because of this he likes to work alone most of the time.

Stoic- Gossamer often doesn't show his feeling to others. He keeps a straight face and often a monotone voice. Gauze hides his pain well and doesn't like to complain, only giving any opinion when truly necessary.

Keeps to self- He likes to be distant from everyone else and tends to ward them off with glares. He doesn't feel comfortable in large or small groups. When others are around it creates to much noise for him to bear and confuses this deer to no end.

Schizophrenic- Gauze is schizophrenic and is at constant war with himself. He will shiver uncontrollably and ramble when pushed out of his comfort zone. This deersert doesn't trust others and his thoughts are often clouded with voices he thinks are not his own.

Has a soft spot for children- Protective Outgoing Active Playful Caring
Like to hang around children for comfort since they understand him and seem just as crazy
