Their Weapon of choice:Beitami wields a rusty
axe which they found lodged in a tree deep in the woods. After a bit of a struggle, they managed to wrench the used tool from nature's grasp, and has kept it with them ever since.
Picture of the swamp:
About the swamp:Beit's swamp is very shaded, but lacks particularly large or dense trees, leaving a lot of empty space for creatures to fall out of the trees and into the murky, algae-infested water below. There, she's free to pray upon the unfortunate, stunned beasts who are usually not used to swimming, and who certainly don't expect such a predator to snatch them so hastily.
Larger creatures, such as deer, foolish enough to seek their council tend to only make it a few steps into the bog before becoming hopelessly entrapped in the glue-like mud below the water.
Beit's many eyes help them keep an eye (or... a lot more) on practically all corners of their domain. One wouldn't expect their many eyes to have too much of an effect on how much of their territory Beit could keep an eye on, but their 20/20/20/... vision really does. No one and nothing escapes their sight, and legend says, as soon as you enter the Vinesnap Marshland, all your secrets are broadcasted to whoever rules the marsh at the time.Their favorite song:Beitami really enjoys listening to
Lorde's Glory and Gore. They feel that the song relates to their general way of life.
Introduce yourself:"Hey. Beit? Yeah, that'd be me, ya sure ya really want to meet
the Bei Vine?
Well, ya were brave enough to come all the way out here, and clever enough to make it through the swamp without encountering that nice mud, so I might as well tell ya at least a bit of what ya want from me.
Puh! Just want to ask who I am? You're a strange one, traveler, the rest a them are always asking me about stuff I don't know nor care about, like the meaning of life or something pathetic like that.
Finally, someone who appreciates how important I am, and that I'm worth so much more than what books a taught me.
I grew up in the bogs, and I've never since left, well, there was once, but anyone who knew the details about that except for me has met the blade. Should tell ya now, stay on my nice side, that way if ya mess up big time I'll only hit ya with the flat end of ol' baby, instead a her blade.
This tree is all mine, another soul won't get in it as long as I live, swear on my life. The swamp is also mine, but I'll let respectful vagrants such a yourself take a visit every once in a while, let em take a look at what they'll never get. I always find em, no one's ever gotten through without speaking to me first. If I don't like the look on their face, it only takes a little push and they meet the mud. Leave em a little while, see how fun it is without my guidance. You come in my bog, you gotta play by my rules, and ya gotta know that ya need my assistance or ya won't get far."
