Story

=======================================
Taxi was sick of pulling the carriages around New York. He was skinny, dirty and uncared for. He feared that one day he'd fall asleep and not wake up again. They wouldn't get rid of him due to his amazing colour. He stood in his stable, head low and eyes dull. The owner came back and pulled the cigar from his mouth, his beady little eyes scanned the little pony.
"Jerry, harness this one up!" He yelled down the scruffy barn. Jerry, a small and dirty stable boy rushed over with his ill fitting harness.
"Sure boss" Jerry replied. This time, Taxi didn't bother to shy away. He was too ill. Taxi sank to the ground and Jerry shouted at him. By this time the owner had walked away, puffing grey smoke rings into the air. Jerry pulled out a short whip and smacked him on the rump, Taxi shot up, surprised. He let out a small neigh. Jerry forced the bridle onto Taxi's face, irritating the rubbed off and red rashes it had already gave the little horse. Next the too-small harness was put on. It sat uncomfortably on his withers. Jerry made sure to put a large white pad under the harness so the late gashes on the horse's back didn't show. Then he tightened it around his stomach and Taxi squealed and turned round to bite the stable boy. A whack around the nose sent the stallion away. He reared and then the boy yanked on his bridle. He snorted and trembled in fear, sweat broke out on his patchy neck. The boy dragged Taxi out of his stable- which is barely a stable. More of a crude wooden box- into the cobbled courtyard. The other horses gave Taxi pitiful looks and he snorted and looked down. Jerry attached his harness to a scruffy, white carriage. Taxi was surprised people paid for a ride on a dirty grey carriage pulled by a skinny and dirty horse. Then a man dressed in a old tuxedo came out of the carriage shed. Taxi knew him as George. George was a cruel, burley and unkind man. He didn't care for the horses and soon as they were out of sight of people he would wildly lash them. He hopped on the carriage. He flicked the whip at Taxi who knew better not to disobey and Taxi obediently walked out of the courtyard and in to the busy streets of New York. George pulled Taxi up harshly at a little docking station for the carriage horses. Numerous tourists wanted pictures with 'the yellow and white horse'. Taxi patiently waited for a customer with his hoof propped up. Then Taxi felt someone gently stroke his neck and looked around to see a man.
"Hello" the man said to George "I was wondering, how much would you like for this pony. I am the head groom of the Twilight Circus Equestrian Centre and we'd love to have this beautiful horse there"
"Ask the owner of the stables" George replied gruffly.
"Where could I find him?" asked the man.
"52nd Street, by the Hudson" he said.
"Thanks"
The man walked off. Taxi couldn't believe what he had heard. He might be escaping this hell!
A few hours later, George trotted the carriage and horse back to the stables where the owner said to him
"Well, looks like princess pony over here has got a new home" he said with a horrible laugh.
"Let's just say a stupid man offered me A LOT of money for the runt" The owner said.
Taxi neighed in protest and got a dirty glare of both George and the owner. He was detached and the new rubs and cuts, he quickly licked. He was having a quick drink when he heard a horsebox pull up. With an excited nicker, Taxi ran to the front of his stable. The man had brought a fluffy new headcollar that was soft on his wound and led him out. He let a nicker of farewell to the others and was loaded into the box with soothing words of the man. He was tied up and the man patted his neck.
"Poor boy" he muttered. An hour later they pulled up, a beautiful stables with rich paddocks lay ahead. He was lead into a roomy stable with fresh straw, water and hay and has never looked back since!

Personality: Bo is one of the sweetest and most innocent tolters you'll ever meet. He wouldn't hurt a fly, and he loves being part of a closely knit group. Being alone is something Bo doesn't like in particular, but he does cherish it at times. Bo is basically, what others call him, a teddy bear. He tends to hear it from the humans as well as other tolters. Bo loves everyone, but isn't crazy and all up in others' faces. He is coated with kindness, and has loyalty that is hard to throw away.
