What are Belldandy's?
Belldandys, also known as Belldees for short, are a fluffy little pixie horse the size of a small rodent. The Belldee will fly from house to house, normally through a window, visiting little children and infants before they fall asleep. Their bells hold a certain pixie dust that brings the little ones good fortune and sweet dreams. Belldandy's eyes are always closed, giving them a calm, pleasant expression upon their faces. They can come in an assortment of colors, any colors you could possibly imagine. Though Belldee's can fly, it is less common for them to have wings; their magical aura is what helps most to fly. Belldandys eat flower petals and leaves for the most part, anything else they eat would consist of an assortment of berries or grasses. One thing they love especially, but is so rare for them to come across is tea. They are obsessed with it and will stop dead in their tracks if they see a cup of it sitting on a table or stand. Lots of people leave tea out at night to try and spot the fluffy pixies.

Where do they live?: Brindle lives in a thick forest in Montana. His camouflage coat keeps him safe from predators. He also frequently visits a small log cabin, letting the two children pet him. He likes to watch skiers and snowboarders rip up the slopes at Big Sky.
Art:
History: Brindle was born and raised in the Yellowstone National Park. His many friends included Tyson the Bison, Shmelk the Elk, and Nair the Bear. His mother was from Africa, hence the markings, and his father, Canada. They decided that Montana was a good place to live because of the remote location and friendly local creatures. He was treated fairly and gently, so Brindle has a kind disposition. He has no siblings they he knows of. Brindle ventured off on his own when he felt he had learned enough to survive in the forests of Montana. Of course, he still visits his parents about every month or so.

"My friends call me Niku"

"Born and raised!"

"The first photo is the sky view from the tunnel of my den,
The second photo is the view from my den of the landscape,
The third photo is my den, a large mostly hollow tree, that I furnished,
The fourth photo is the near by water hole where I get my water,
The fifth is a Igbo mask that was gifted to me,
and lastly the sixth is a picture someone took of me."
Nkiruka was given the name Nkiruka because she was born unusually
small for a Dee, and she was also born completely blank of any markings
which is why she was named Nkiruka because it means "The best is still to come"
in Igbo which is the African country she was born in, and the best did come,
she grew big and strong through the years even surpassing some of her
friends much to her satisfaction. Sadly though she was still blank of markings.
She went out one night into the plains gazing out across the land moping
about her lack of markings in the silent night....
Until the silence was broken by a soft crying.
Nkiruka looked around until she found the source, a young little girl
sitting all alone under a tree crying in her sleep.
Nkiruka sat next to her curling herself up next to the sad little girl sharing
in her sadness. Nkiruka laid her head down looking at the
girl who appeared to be having a very bad dream. she laid
there for quite a while watching the little girl until she remembered
something her Dad had told her about, which was Belldandee's ability
to bring peace and pleasant dreams to children as they sleep.
She stood up careful not to wake the young child then did a
small leap so she was floating carefully above the little girl
Nkiruka closed her eyes then slowly opened them finding herself
in a completely different world, that was much different than
the one she left. It was dark and terrifying the little girl was
crying in a corner. Nkiruka flew over to the little girl who looked
up at her, her eyes widening in wonder. "Why are you so scared?"
Nkiruka asked the little girl. The little girl shrugged sniffling looking down
at her feet "Well, if you let me show you something, your dreams can
be much nicer." again the little girl shrugged "Okay" she murmured
"Good, then close your eyes" Nkiruka said and when the little girl did she
closed her eyes as well and said a short little wish imagining fun peaceful things
and as she did bright dust descended over her and the little girl. As the dust cleared
the whole world changed turning bright and beautiful. The little girl gasped
a bright smile filling her face as she looked around the new world. Nkiruka
smiled as well and then closed her eyes and when she opened them she was
once again floating next to the little girl who was no longer crying.
"Sweet dreams.." Nkiruka murmured and as she did
a giant white light encased her body blinding Nkiruka until
it slowly faded away Nkiruka looked around blinking and when
she looked down she gasped, her body was covered with beautiful swirling
tan, grey, brown and black markings. Nkiruka was so overjoyed, she soared
all the way home and showed off her markings to her parents.
Nkiruka's favorite thing to do is to fly through the African
villages visiting the dreams of children weaving wonderful tales of
adventure and friendship in their heads as they sleep.
Moving from village to village flying all over Africa
throughout the night, only stopping to rest during the day
when she returns to her home located in Central Africa.

I think music is about our internal life.
It's part of the way people touch each other.
That's very precious to me. And astronomy is,
in a sense, the very opposite thing. Instead of
looking inwards, you are looking out, to things
beyond our grasp.
