What Makes Them Strange? ;; Ari is nonverbal! They do not speak or make sound with their mouth to communicate, and rather "talk" to others by making gestures and body language. Though they can hear, they do not talk. They do, however, know sign language, and if there is no one to translate sign language for them when Aristotle is communicating with someone they might also talk using written word.
