Having been created entirely for work, they equaled the size of elephants. But as time went on, like a lot of creatures, they have shrunken to the size of large grizzly bears. Primarily, they worked for creatures such as elves, and dwarves, as they love love love to work. When they are contracted into work, they receive their silver, gem en-crested collars. The only way that they do not have collars is if they are young, have not worked, or were dishonored. Given their overly flamboyant pride, they think highly of themselves, their lineages and their tasks. If they abandon a job unfinished, or get involved with another Fenrir from a different/lesser lineage, they are dishonored. Though, they are not necessarily treated harshly once dishonored, they just aren't allowed to work with Fenrir that still have their honor. They are still allowed to mingle as a pack, they are even allowed to lead their own pack. Lineages, still, are still meant to be kept clean though.
Honor and pride aside though, they are immensely diverse in their personalities, and are not as serious as one would think. They are extremely playful, and love to wrestle. They are more on the carnivorous side of omnivorous, but they really do enjoy berries. They are known to even go a little crazy over them. They do not fear humans, they actually love helping with things that they are able to- some known to even take on the job of watching over small children. Once the children leave, often, they will continue to stay with the family, taking on the new role of watching over the older parents.
Fenrir live for a very long time, this originally being the case so that they could finish their jobs- no matter how long it took. It can cause heart ache though, hence why they originally had rules against working for humans. They would always live past the normal age of humans, and their children, and their grandchildren, and so on. Many Fenrir dying of a broken heart, but there are still some packs who wish to break the rules and work for humans.
