Story:Evelyn once had a happy family, she really did! One night, while she was peacefully grazing, she was unaware of a nearby hunter. The hunter noticed her almost immediately and took the opportunity to shoot her. Thankfully, the bullet hit only her leg. She wailed in pain and limped towards her family as fast as she could. She quickly found her mother but she caught a glimpse of bright orange. Her wailing silenced and she hid in the bushes. She watched as the hunter pulled up his gun and, BAM!! Her mother fell to the ground, blood leaking from a bullet-wound on her head.
She whimpered and limped off in the opposite direction of her mother. She continued limping through the forest until she saw a boy- that looked to be around the age of ten- with bright green eyes and black hair wearing a Black hoodie, ripped jeans, and hiking boots. She didn't feel as if he was a threat and slowly walked towards him. He noticed her and smiled a bright smile that could warm even the cruelest man's heart. "Hi there!" he walked towards the injured Deerbbit. Evelyn noticed he was wearing a heart-shaped necklace. He reached a gentle hand out and gently rubbed her ear. He noticed her wound and looked at her with gentle eyes. "Don't worry, I'll fix you right up!" he ran to a fallen tree trunk where a navy-blue backpack was sitting. He unzipped it and pulled out a First Aid kit. He rushed back over to Evelyn and opened the First Aid kit. "Now, girl, this might hurt. But just bear with me, okay?"
Evelyn grunted in response, making the boy sigh in relief. He pulled out scissors, a magnifying glass, and tweezers. He took the magnifying glass and examined the wound.
"Good," he sighed in relief. "The bullet isn't in too deep." He sat the magnifying glass down and picked up the tweezers, slowly inserting the tip of the item in her wound. Evelyn flinched but stayed in her place, somehow knowing that this was important. The boy clamped the tweezers on a piece of metal and pulled out the bullet. He sat it in a free slot in the First Aid kit and pulled out cotton balls and bandages. He dabbed the area around the wound with the balls of cotton, making the formerly white cotton stain red.
He took the bandages and wrapped her leg. He stood up, face-to-face with Evelyn. "I'm Jack." he smiled at her. He looked at the watch on his wrist and gasped. "Oh, crap! mom's gonna be mad!" Jack looked at Evelyn with a suddenly serious face. "Stay here, I'll be back tomorrow to check on you, okay?"
Evelyn nodded.
"Good." Jack ran to his backpack and threw it over his shoulder, jumping over the tree trunk and running towards a group of houses. Evelyn spotted a pile of soft-looking leaves and laid down, closing her eyes and welcoming a much needed sleep.

"Girl! I'm back!" Evelyn woke up at the sound of Jack's voice. She raised her head to see the same smiling boy who had helped her the day before. She stood up, favoring her injured leg. "Listen," Jack began. " I just have to change your bandages this once and you'll be fine. But I made you something!" He pulled out a replica of the heart locket he was wearing. He opened the heart to reveal two pictures: the one one the left was a picture of Jack smiling, the picture on the right a picture of a beautiful field. "This one," Jack said, pointing to the picture of him. "Is so you'll remember me. And this one," he pointed to the picture of the field. "Is so you'll know that you'll know this is where we met, and me nor you will forget this place. Or each other."
Jack closed the locket and put the necklace around the Deerbbit's neck. "Even more beautiful than you were before~!" Jack cooed, if Evelyn could blush, her whole face would be red. "Now, lets change those bandages!"
