I rubbed by butt, which was still hurting after my little ride with Lavder. I hadn't really interacted with Tribe much but now I intended to. A lot. One reason why I didn't was because trying to make Lavder warm up to me, was tiring and hard work. Another reason was because of his rambunctious attitude...he get's a bit scary. I neared his paddock which was close to Lavder, and I was surprised to find out he didn't scare the girl with his personality. Smiling to myself (after rubbing my sore butt a bit more) I unlocked his paddock gate and entered, locking it behind me. My eyes then scanned the paddock in search of Tribe, finally spotting him running up and down the fence as he tossed his head back...as far as I could work out he was trying to frighten off my car...or maybe that bird on top of it? I wasn't sure...
" Hi..um...Tribe " I said, forgetting his name for a split-second. Dang my memory!
Upon hearing my voice, the male turned his head to look at me. Instantly he began running in my direction. Firghtened, I held my hands up over my head assuming he wouldn't stop in time. But lucky for me he did. " G-geez Tribe! " I stuttered out once I lowered my hands and found out I was safe. " You...you scared me! Terrified me! " I half-shouted at him.
Tribe stared at me before walking a bit closer and pushing my head with his, apologizing. I smiled at him (after a second to work out why he did that). " Good boy... " I muttered.
Tribe tossed his head back in reply before looking at me. I smiled a bit wider before reaching my hand up and stroking the front of his face. He nuzzled into my hand, enjoying the feeling of being stroked.
" Well, getting rid of that...scary...moment, your kinda easier to handle then Lavder when we first met... " I joked, smiling at him as he slightly tilted his head in confusion.
Smiling again I moved my hand away from his head and back by my side, making him give an annoyed snort at no longer being stroked.
" Well, here you go... " I said, opening by brown bag and pulling out some mouse meat as I offered it to him. Instantly his head dived for the food as he gulped it down. I don't think he even tasted it like Lavder did...
I winced a bit as his teeth nicked by hand slightly. He was defently...not as careful as Lavder...I thought to myself. Once he was done I wiped by hand on my jeans and quickly checked my hand wasn't to nicked from feeding him. Lucky only one small cut and a few scratches, nothing major.
I smiling at him one last time as I turned and began walking away. " Bye Tribe! " I yelled over my shoulder, only to realize Tribe was following me. " Hey, why ya following me? " I smiled at him, gently pushing his head away in a playful manner before continuing to walk on. Tribe following behind me. When I reached the gate I unlocked it and only opened it enough for me to slip through and not Tribe, so he didn't follow me. I then shut it and locked it, giving Tribe one last wave before walking away, a snort coming from Tribe as I left.

A couple more days had passed. Everything was normal at my home. Lavder still acting skittish, and Tribe being extremely boisterous. I sighed as I headed towards my shed, the one containing all the saddles and halters. I grabbed a saddle, not Lavder's saddle but Tribe's saddle. He hadn't worn it yet so I intended on getting it on him...if he didn't think I was playing when I tried putting it on him.
I turned on my heel as I left the shed. Lavder whined at me as I passed, greeting me. I smiled at her and said a quick hello before carrying my journey towards Tribe's paddock. Upon arriving I quickly spotted Tribe. He was laying down in the grass, his head nosing a small piece of rat meat (the meat I usually feed them) before becoming bored with it and eating it in one quick motion of his mouth.
I then reached his gate as I unlocked it and opened it,entering before I turned to close and lock it. Little did I know Tribe had heard me and was standing right behind me when I turned around. A small squeal escaped me from surprise when i turned, seeing Tribe right behind me. " Holy crabs that came from Satin!" I yelled. " Your always out to scare me! " I added onto the end, recalling the time I tried to stroke him for the first time and he ran straight at me, showing no signs of slowing down.
I sighed as atribe noticed the saddle draped over my shoulder. Curious, Tribe nosed it before grabbing it between his teeth and running away with it. "Tribe!" I yelled after him, sprinting after the horse like creature.
After a long time (it was actually a few minutes) Tribe became bored with his little game and stopped, causing me to crash into his backside. He snorted, probably laughing at me, as I growled in annoyance. Tribe was pretty hard for me to handle...
" Okay Tribe, here's the deal. Your going to drop the saddle. And I am going to PUT IT ON YOU!" I said, frustration in my voice but I tried my beat to mask it.
Tribe stared at me as I shuffled over to his head. I then slowly reached my hands up and grabbed the bottom of the saddle. A smile started to form on my face as I pulled the saddle. Tribe didn't let go. "Tribe" I said, trying not to frown as I pulled again. After awhile I managed to get him to let go by offering mouse meat to him. Which he quickly accepted.
Sighing, I cleaned the saddle with some grass before turning to Tribe. " Now for putting it on you!" I cheered, glad I had almost completely my task.
I walked round to his side, Tribe watching me curious, as I began to raise the saddle over his back. Tribe let out a small snort. I then placed the saddle onto his back, watching Tribe to make sure he didn't do anything he shouldn't. I smiled with satisfaction when he did nothing as I began strapping the saddle onto him. Once finished I stood back to admire my handy work. Tribe stared at the saddle curiously as he turned to face me. Questioning why I put it on him. I smiled at him, glad he was...sort of...easier to put a saddle on then Lavder. But my opinion quickly changed when I went over to him and he ran off. I growled as i began my chase to get the saddle back.
This is going to be a long day...

After vigorous training with Tribe to not make him run off with the saddle (mostly by bribing him with mouse meat) I finally trained him not to run off with it...much. I also began putting the halter on him and leading him around with it to get him used to it...only he was harder to train then Lavder with that due to him constantly trying to play by getting me to chase him. I swear he is trying to wear my feet off!
Anyway, I also began applying pressure to the saddle. The same thing I did with Lavder. I smiled to myself as I headed off the the shed. I slung Tribe's halter over my shoulder as his saddle rested on top of it (one hand holding onto it so it doesn't fall off). I then headed off towards Tribe's paddock.
I passed Lavder (who was asleep on the grass) as I let out a small 'aaww' at her before continuing. I arrived at Tribe's paddock and saw him drinking water, happy snorts coming from him as he then plunged his head into his food trough, eating the small amounts of meat he left in it. I'll have to remember to re-fill that, I noted as I unlocked the gate and opened it. I entered and closed the gate after me, locking it as well. Tribe hadn't seemed to notice me so I shrugged, heading over to him. Tribe looked up from eating and drinking to glance at me, knowing it was me, he continued eating.
I sighed as I made it to his side. I began strapping his saddle and halter onto him, he barely aknowledged me due to him being absorbed in the oh-so-fascinating water. " Okay Tribe...this is gonna hurt me a lot more then you... " I muttered to myself once I got the saddle and halter on him. I then pushed onto his back lightly, he only glanced at me as he continued eating and drinking. I smiled to myself as I then began lifting myself up onto him. He didn't look at me and probably thought I was going through the usual routine. It was only when I gently tugged the halter to make his head turn did he realize I wasn't anywhere to be found. He let out a slightly frightened whine as I quickly shushed him. Him noticing I was on his back as I spoke. " It's ok Tribe! " I quickly said, his body admitting nervous snorts as his eyeless face wondered why I was on his back.
I gave him a nervous smile as I reached into my brown bag and offered him some mouse meat. The nervous neravontii quickly gobbled it.
" Okay, now we are going to walk around the paddock...OK Tribe? " I said to him. He blankly watched me as I gripped the halters and tried my best to lead him round.
After half an hour of getting him used to me on his back and guiding him about, Tribe caught on quickly and soon he was trotting around his paddock with me on his back.
He let out a happy snort, feeling succesful with himself. The sun began dipping into the horizon when I halted him and began climbing off. I gave him some mouse meat before removing his saddle and halter. I petted him as I then left the paddock, waving a goodbye to him as I headed off to put the saddle and halter away before I continued with the last jobs I had around my home.

I sat on the fence as the sun beat down on me. I was sitting on the fence of Tribe's paddock, happily licking my strawberry ice cream with multi-coloured sprinkles on. Tribe was happily trying to play with Lavder, who was in a different paddock. Finally the male became bored with Lavder's unresponsive actions towards him as he turned his attention to me.
He snorted as he began trotting over, his head held up high as a mischievous aura began surrounding him. I raised a eyebrow as I licked my ice cream again. When Tribe was finally in front of me, he watched me with non-existent eyes, before seeming uninterested in me.
I shrugged at me supposing he was going to do something when he suddenly lurched his head forward, causing my ice cream to topple from my hand and onto his lowered head.
Tribe snorted as he turned and sprinted away. He then slowed down when he realized I wasn't chasing him but instead began trotting, lifting his legs high as he raised his ice-cream covered head, letting out happy snorts.
I laughed hard at the sight of my neravontii. He was like an ice-cream unicorn!
