Bijoux are a type of kirin who are closely related to dik-diks. They are small bovids that, instead of keratin, have gems or minerals that form their hooves, horns, and a thin layer beneath their skin to serve as a shield. They are herbivores that stand two feet tall. Their social structure is a hierarchy, which means that one Bijou rules the others. It is believed they have healing abilities based on the gem/ mineral found in their bodies. They are very timid creatures and prefer to stay with their own kind. Caves are very sacred to Bijoux and some herds even live in them to be closer to the precious stones found within.

This Bijoux has an abnormally long uni-horn that can be a little hard to hold up.
This Bijoux's mineral is sillimanite

personality
Acelin is both soft-spoken and a Bijoux of few words. Every word out of her mouth, no matter how little, are usually words of wisdom. Many fellow Bijoux claim she has knowledge beyond her years as well. Peacefulness comes naturally to Acelin, as well as her calm state of mind. In the face of any dangers or worries, Acelin approaches them courageously but with a certain serenity that no other Bijoux has. She thinks of every day to be a blessing and takes time to savor each and every moment. Acelin is very generous, but she's much too intelligent to be taken advantage of. She often takes a quiet walk to the Sky Columns during daybreak and stays there until she feels she's ready to go back. Acelin has a soothing presence to the other Bijoux. As mentioned before, she is a prudent Bijoux, so due to this she is often found whispering helpful advice to others. No matter how short Acelin's sentences are, she is a valued and proud member of herd.

The light that glimmered from the holes in the ceiling stung Ophelia's eyes, after a long night all she wished to do was to continue with the blissful rest that was being in a dreamless slumber. A yawn escaped her before she with a lazy movement lifted her head, though with being drowsy she had to adjust herself to the weight upon her head as she did every time she woke up. It didn't take long before she found her balance and stood up and walked with light steps closer to the tree she affectionately thought off as the Heart of these caverns. There was always light being casted around; during the night with the glow worms, where some hung low enough to tangle into her horn, and during the day the light shone through the holes in the roof.
Ophelia's daydream about this was that the Heart soaked up light, but only to a certain extent, giving it away once dawn peaked around the corner, almost like it was in hiding. Not wanting the light to be dimmed forever, and once dusk started to settle the light it had stolen from dawn shone through the caverns even when the sky was nowhere to be seen in the darkness. It was a youthful thought, but it was somewhat unique as she hadn't been told this as a young Bijoux, she was a lover for myths and legends, for the ones already created, but also for the ones she had the opportunity to create and form herself.
