Paint-Tailed Pythons(PTP) are a unique breed of pythons that have paint seeping from their tail tips. PTP tend to be slightly smaller than their close cousins, ball pythons, females being around 2-3 feet long and males 1-2 feet long. Hatchlings are dramatically smaller at only 5 inches long.
Pythons tend to be quite intelligent, and PTP are no exception. PTP tend to be quite shy when first introduced to their owners, but will warm up quickly and soon become inseparable. PTP have exceptionally long lifespans, and have been known to live for upwards of 60 years.

This PTP is 46's brother!

Why Does This PTP Feel Down During The Holidays?;; Poor Lantern is not feeling as festive as his sibling. Why you ask? Well, as Charlie Brown said, Lantern feels Christmas has become too commercialized. Shopping, Santa, toys, presents, and blinking lights have become the center point of the holiday season. But this is not the true meaning of Christmas. No, Christmas is not about the hype. The thing that saddens this poor PTP most is what Christmas seems to have become, and how far it strays from its true meaning.

Why Does This PTP Feel Down During The Holidays?;;

On Christmas eve he was enjoying a lovely day with his parents until, his father started acting strangely, Darkflame already knew that he was sick, looks like it got worse. The next day Christmas was finnaly here! he went to go see if his father was doing better today, but when he got to him... he wouldn't move, at all. after that he never liked Christmas, it reminded him to much of his fathers death.

Why Does This PTP Feel Down During The Holidays?;;

Jerek is a very sad PTP in general. Normally very morose, he sits
in one corner of his tank all day, curled into a ball. He doesn't do
much even when handled; it's not that he's sick or that something
bad happened to him, he's just a naturally very sad snake. This
year he is particularly downtrodden because, as he gets older, he
realizes he still does not have what he craves the most; a
significant other.

The others try to cheer him up by hanging garland and festive lights, but this only adds to his growing loathe for the holidays. Erebus is named Erebus for a reason, you know. It's odd because he originally tolerated the holidays, but now they seem to make him want to attack himself, something snakes often to when stressed.
